Chapter 1

Elizabeth's POV

"Brandon I really don't want to go to this party" I said

"Well we are fucking going so get over it. I'm going with out without you!" He yelled

It never used to be like this. We used to be all loved up all the time, we were as you would say "goals". It wasn't until 2 months ago things started changing. He went to a party without me one night and ever since then he hasn't been the same. The only time I ever see him anymore is at school or you guessed it when he drags me to parties. I wish it could go back to the good days

"Fine I will go, but don't think I am getting drunk with you." I yelled back at him

He rolled his eyes as he left my house to get ready as am I. I decided to make him mad I would wear high waisted acid washed shorts and a maroon crop top with high top black converse. I got dress and did my makeup, and grey smokey eye that really made my green eyes stand out. And then I did my hair I did loose curls then shook them out to make it more beachy.

"Are you ready?" Brandon yelled from downstairs he must've let himself in

"Yes coming down now" I said

I walked down the stairs as he starred at me.

"Wow dress like a slut on purpose did we?" He said

"Wow dress like a dick on purpose did we?" I scoffed as I walked out past him

We got to the party parked and walked in. As soon as we walked in he left me got a drink and started hanging with his friends. I decided that I would just chill in the kitchen and wait for him to find me.

2 hours later

It's been 2 hours I haven't seen him he hadn't found me, I need to go look for him. I start walking to the stair case when I ran into someone causing them to fall but me to still stand

"Oh my god I am so sorry I should really pay attention to where  I'm walking!" I said freaking out a bit

"It's no problem. Your like a Bulletproof wall" he said

"Umm yea again so sorry about that" I said blushing

"No worries, I'm Calum what's your name?" He asked politely

"Elizabeth but you can call my Lizzy" I said.

Calum was gorgeous to say the least, he was super tall, tan, had dark brown hair, and tattoos. He was extremely attractive, way more than Brandon. Oh Brandon that reminds me

"Hey have you seen Brandon Lox I have been looking for him everywhere and I can't find him?" I asked

"Oh, I saw him go upstairs with Sarah Rodes like and hour ago" he said looking sympathetic smile.
"Omg he isn't cheating on me is he" I began to cry
"Omg don't cry you way to pretty to cry. I'll go up with you and look okay" Calum said

We go upstairs,
I opened the door and saw what I didn't want to see, Brandon on top of Sarah.

"Put your fucking clothes on you slut. And get off my fucking well ex-boyfriend" I said to Sarah

"Oh yea and who is gonna make me?" She said with a smirk

I walk over to her grab her hair and start hitting her while she screamed for me to stop, I let go and went over to Brandon and slapped him in the face.

"Bitch who the fuck do you think you are?" Brandon yelled at me while grabbing my arm, yanking me back to him as he punched me in the stomach then face. I fell to the ground crying as I saw Sarah run and leave the room and Calum come running in

"Your a fucking bitch Brandon" Calum yelled as he began to hit him. Calum finally got off as Brandon's nose was bleeding and his Lip was busted

"Are you okay Lizzy?" He said

"No my cheek and stomach hurt" I cried

"Here come with me" he said

He picked me up and carried me to his car and put me in the front seat.

"We will get your car in the morning" he whispered in my ear

"Where are we going?" I asked almost asleep

"My house you can stay there tonight it's alright" he said

We get to his house and his mom is still up he carries me inside and sets my on the counter in the kitchen

"Calum Hood will you please come here" his I'm assuming mother said

"Hold on a second babe" he said

He called me babe, maybe he just says that to everyone. OMG what should I do I thought to myself.

"I was at that party and her boyfriend well ex- boyfriend hit her in the face and stomach when she caught him cheating." He told the women

"Okay Calum just take care of her. She can stay here as long as she needs." I heard the women say she seemed really nice

"Okay sorry about that" he said laughing

"It's alright" I replied

He went to the freezer and got an ice pack for my face as he stood there looking at me

"What?" I asked placing the pack on me face

"Well I kinda need to see your stomach in order to help it." He said

"Oh I gotcha" I replied

I pulled up my shirt and saw there was already a huge bruise on my ribs and it hurt every time I breathed

"Oh my god lizzy I think he broke one of your ribs" he said staring at my stomach

"It hurts when I breath." I said

"Okay well it's pretty late lets go to bed and then I'll take you to the hospital in the morning, sound good" he asked

"Sounds fine" I replied

He helped me off the counter and lead me upstairs to where his bedroom is.

"Here is a t-shirts and sweatpants. It gets pretty cold in here." He said handing me clothes

"Wait where are you sleeping?" I asked

"The couch over there you can have the bed" he said pointing to the couch across the room

"No you can have the bed its your room the couch is fine for me Calum" I said moving over to the couch before he stopped me

"Nope you have the bed. I'm fine you can change in the bathroom" he said pointing across the hall.  I got changed and I  walked back in to the room with Calum already on the couch and the bed made for me.

"Thank you Calum. For being so nice to me" I said getting into the bed

"It's okay. I don't mind. I tend to be nice to things that I care about" he said blushing

"You care about me? We just met" I asked

"Yea I guess I do." He said rolling over

"Goodnight Lizzy" he said

"Goodnight Calum" I replied

That night I went to bed with a huge smile on my face.
