Alexandrian (Wicca)- This tradition was started in the 1960s by Alex Sanders. Alex Sanders lived in England. He used what is known to be slightly changed Gardnarian traditions and calls himself the King of Witches. Covens in this type included both men and women.

British Traditional (Wicca)- according to Silver Raven Wolf, this is a mix of Celtic and Gardnarian beliefs. Covens involve both men and women. One can study a course and get a degree in British Traditional Witchcraft.

Celtic Wicca- Focuses mainly on Celtic and Druidic gods and goddesses. The rituals are formed after Gardnerian traditions with a strong emphasis on nature. Celtic Wicca also puts emphasis on working with elements and nature spirits. Like, fairies and gnomes. Gods and Goddesses are also usually called "The Ancient Ones."

Caledonii- This was once known as the Heratine Tradition. It's also known as the Traditional Scottish Witchcraft.

Ceremonial Witchcraft- This tradition is very structured in its rituals. All rituals are usually followed by the book down to the letter and with much ceremony. There is little emphasis put on nature. This tradition may incorporate some Egyptian magic.

Dianic- it can incorporate any magical traditions, but it puts more emphasis on the Goddesses of magical traditions than the Gods. It's known as the feminist kind of witchcraft.

Druidic- Very little is known today about Ancient Druidism. There are many gaps in the writings that have been found. Modern Druids practice their religion in areas where nature has been preserved usually wood areas. Druidic rituals often employ sacrifices usually include grain sometimes meat. These ritualistic sacrifices usually accompanied by a verse quite like the following: "Earth Mother, giver of life we return to you a measure of the bounty you provided may you be enriched and your wild things preserved."

Electic (Natural)- mixes many different traditions together to suit their tastes. Will not follow any one particular tradition. Whatever seems to work best for them is what they use, regardless of which magical practice it comes from. This is one of the most popular types of witches today.

Gardnerian (Wicca)- This began in England and is Wiccan in nature. Formed by Gerald Gardner in the 1950s. Gerald Gardner was the first to publicize witchcraft in an effort to preserve the 'old ways.'

Hereditary Witch (Natural or Wiccan)- born into a witch family and is brought up learning about witchcraft. Many witches claim to be hereditary but aren't. One must be brought up in a family of witches to be a hereditary witch.

Kitchen Witch (Natural)- Someone who practices magic having to deal with the home and practical life. Use many spells involving cooking, herbs, and creating magic through crafts. They are very much like a hedge witch. They practice by home and hearth, mainly dealing with practical sides of the religion, magic, the elements, and the earth.

Pictish- Nature-based with little emphasis on religion, Gods, or Goddesses. It is much like Celtic witchcraft, only the traditions are Scottish. These witches perform alone, and rarely in groups or covens.

Pow-Wow- This tradition is based on old German magic. Today it is considered a system of faith healing and can be applied to almost any religion.

Seax (Wicca)- This tradition began in 1973 by Raymond Buckland and works on Saxon principles of religion and magic.

Shaman (Natural)- It is arguable as to whether shamanism Paganism puts no emphasis on religion or pantheon. They work completely with nature. Rocks, trees, animals, rivers, etc. They know the Earth, their body, and their minds. They train many long years to do well at healing and astral travel.

Solitary (Natural or Wicca)- Can be a practitioner of any magical system. They work alone and don't join a group or coven. They usually choose to mix different systems kind of like an electic witch. They can also make their own religious beliefs since they aren't bound by the rules of a coven.

Teutonic- This is a Nordic tradition of witchcraft that includes beliefs and practices from Sweden, Dutch, and Icelandic ones.

Wicca- Probably the most popular form of witchcraft. It's also highly religious. There's a belief in only one god and goddess who are equal. Wiccans commonly form covens and rarely work alone.

Satanic Witch- Could worship the Christian Devil or the modern belief system of Anton LaVey.

Theistic Satanism- The belief that Satan as a human-like entity, the Roman image of Lucifer, or some imagine him as the Greek God Pan.

____________________________________________________________________________

A/N: I feel bad for the Greek God Pan. He is being worshipped as if he is Lucifer in Theistic Satanism. Pan wants to preserve nature and as far as I know has nothing to do with evil.

What did you guys think of this chapter? I know I'm going to be doing separate chapters for all of these with more in depth descriptions, but is there anything you would like to know more about concerning witchcraft? Would you like a mini biography done on any of the people I mentioned above?
