She screamed like any mother would do when she was torn away from her only daughter. She had no choice, she was sworn to do so, and must do this, or she would sacrifice everything, but even though she knew that, it still hurt. But as she felt herself release that bundle of blankets, she felt part of her soul crumble.
They both were pulled into the darkness, with no comfort of each other. They both screamed, the mother in hurt, depression and guilt. The little girl screamed in confusion and in pain, mental pain, the agony of being pulled apart from her mother. And then everything went quiet, and the vulnerable little girl drifted off, and felt as if she was floating, high over anything and everything, whilst forgetting everything that had ever occurred in her short life.
And never would she remember again. Until now.
