‘George! Get off!’ I groaned. He had belly flopped on top of me, on my bed. God knows how wrong it looked.

‘No Andy, you’ve got to get up!’ He said, shaking me. I had just woken up, and I was still irritable.

‘Fine! Alright George, you can get off me now! Fred!’ Fred was standing in the doorway gobsmacked. His eyes were wide, and his fists were clenched. What was up with him?

‘This isn’t what it looks like. Mate! Fred, c’mon!’ George ran to find Fred, and I slowly got out of bed. I pulled on some jeans and my t-shirt, before sliding down the banister. George and Fred were nowhere to be seen, but Ginny, Percy, Charlie and Molly were all in the kitchen.

‘Morning.’ I said, taking a seat next to Ginny. Molly turned round and beamed at me.

‘Good morning Andy, did you sleep well?’

‘Yes, until someone wanted to launch themselves at me.’ I said, taking a piece of toast.

‘About that Andy, come with me.’ Ginny whispered, and I nodded following her into the living room. ‘What’s going on?’ She said, looking at the picture of Fred and George laughing.

‘What do you mean?’ I asked confused, and she looked up at me quickly.

‘That George and Fred aren’t talking to each other.’ I took a step back confused. Everyone thought it was my fault George and Fred were completely blanking each other? I mean, yeah, I had noticed. Of course. But I thought they had an argument. So did everyone think it was my fault? Did they all think of me as a home wrecker? Oh god, what if they did? I better leave. ‘Andy?’ I hadn’t realised I’d gone into a daydream, but I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

‘I dunno. I’ll find out though, I promise.’ I went upstairs, hoping to find Fred or George. All I could find was Ron, mumbling to himself about Grimmauld place. I decided not to ask, and went up to my room. I hadn’t wrote in my diary in a while.

Hey Tom, how’s it going?

Fine Pandora, how about you?

Ok-ish. I just wish that everything was so much simpler.
What do you mean?

Tom! Stop replying with a question each time! And if you must know, I have been having a little problem, teenage stuff, no need to worry.
Please Pandora, if there is ever anything you want to tell me, you can. I will keep you safe.

I know Tom, thanks anyway.
Ok Pandora, I must go. Goodbye.

Bye.

Tom. I wonder what he was like. Was he handsome? Clever? Troublesome? These things I wanted to ask him, but I was scared. He seemed so formal, old fashioned. But he was a friend, he was always there when no one else was. There was a knock on my door, and I looked up, to see Molly. I threw the diary at the back of my bed, and luckily she didn’t see.

‘Hello dear, everything ok?’ I nodded silently, looking at the floor. ‘Ginny was a bit harsh on you, wasn’t she?’

‘No, not at all. I just didn’t think it was my fault.’

‘It might not be. It could be me! Anyway, today we are going to Diagon Alley, to get all your wizard supplies. Your auntie Andromeda gave you the vault key, so we can retrieve some money and then we can buy all your stuff.’

‘Awesome. I’ll put on my shoes and I’ll be down.’ I slid on my uggs, and ran down the stairs. George and Fred were now downstairs, at the other ends of the room, along with Molly. Everyone else was upstairs.

‘C’mon you lot! You know how packed Diagon Alley gets!’ Molly shouted, as I stood awkwardly, not knowing whether to go to George or Fred. Neither of them had noticed me, so I sat on the bottom stair, and twiddled with my fingers. Charlie came down the stairs, jumping over me, and making a thud, causing George and Fred to both look up. George smiled, and Fred glared at him. God, it must be me.

‘George.’ I said, walking over to him. He pulled his arms round me, giving me no option other than not breathing. ‘Come outside with me?’ I grabbed his hand, and went out into the garden.

‘What’s the matter?’ He asked, and I sighed, looking at his puzzled face.

‘What’s up with you and Fred?’ He nodded, sitting down.

‘Fred likes you,’ he said. ‘And he feels that I have taken you away from him. He’s being a jealous git-’

‘George!’

‘He is though! And I won’t talk to him until he apologises. He always gets the girls, and just for once -’

‘What? You got me? Am I just a possession to be owned?’

‘No Andy, I didn’t mean that-’ I walked into the kitchen, and through to the living room. I threw myself on the couch next to Percy.

‘Someone’s grouchy.’ He said, looking up from his book.

‘All thanks to your delightful little brothers.’ I said, fuming.

‘Oh. Ok.’ He said, swiftly turning back to his book. I stood up, and walked over to Fred. His expression hadn’t changed, and I smiled meekly.

‘What do you want? To declare your love for George?’

‘The idiot who I just argued with? No thanks.’ I swear I saw the corner of Fred’s mouth twitch up, and he looked at me.

‘Sorry. You ok?’ He asked.

‘Yeah, I’m fine.’ I said, resting my head on his shoulder. Molly screamed again for Ron and Ginny, and I decided to go and find them. Ron was sitting on his bed, still mumbling about something, but this time I decided to interrupt.

‘Ron?’ I said, knocking the door. He jumped up suspiciously. ‘We’re going now.  Everything ok?’

‘Yeah sure, why wouldn’t it be?’ He asked shiftily, and I shrugged, going back downstairs. Ginny was downstairs, with Molly. Fred and George were still on either side of the room, both looking forlorn. Molly could sense the tension, and walked over to the fire place.
