Butch rolled over on the bed, and ingoring the pain in his head. The docter said his tumor gotten bigger and he said his chance of living just went down about 15%. Butch doesn't want to tell anybody, he just wants to beat it. But knowing his condition, he might not make it.

"Butch?" Buttercup asked as Butch turned to met her lime green eyes.

"Hi." Butch said as he sat up. Buttercup walked over and sat in the same chair. Butch bit his lip and looked at Buttercup.

"Can you sit with me?" Butch asked as Buttercup looked at him, and she climbed in the bed. She sat between Butch's legs, and Butch wrapped his arms around her small body. Butch sighed and Buttercup leaned against him.

"How are you feeling?" Buttercup asked him as Butch closed his eyes.

"I'm fine." Butch lied as Buttercup smiled and nodded. "Are you?" Butch asked as Buttercup shrugged.

"They said my cancer starting to fade away, so that's a good sign. And when you out, that soccer game will be waiting!" Buttercup exclaimed as she laughed. Butch gave a chuckle, and Buttercup turned to face him. Butch opened his eyes and smiled at her.

"When are you getting out of here?" Buttercup asked as Butch shrugged.

"I don't know, they haven't gotten the test results back yet." Butch lied as Buttercup nodded. Butch sighed and looked at Buttercup.

"So, what was the one thing you loved before coming in here?" Butch asked as he hugged Buttercup, trying to soak in every moment with her.

"Playing soccer, I was known as the sports queen." Buttercup said as a smirk came across her face. Butch smiled and nodded. He layed his head on her shoulder and Buttercup smiled.

"What about you?" Buttercup asked as Butch sighed.

"Eh, hanging out with Boomer and Brick. They was fun to hang out with, I consider them as my brothers." Butch said as he held back the tears. Buttercup nodded as she turned towards the door. The docter nodded for her to come, she sighed.

"I'm sorry but I have to go." Buttercup said as Butch frowned.

"Okay." Was all Butch said. He let go of Buttercup, and Buttercup turned towards him. She sighed and hugged him. Butch licked his lips as they pulled apart. He leaned in, and they kissed.

Sparks flew, and Butch knew this was the last time he was gonna see Buttercup, even hugged her. They pulled apart and Buttercup blushed and smiled. Butch knew this wasn't an fairy tail, and that kiss wasn't gonna heal him. She pulled apart from the hug and she walked out of the room. Butch sighed and he layed back into the pillows. Last time seeing Buttercup, but this wasn't Buttercup's last time seeing Butch.

Boomer knocked on Butch's door with Brick behind him. Butch yelled come in, and his heart ache as he saw Boomer and Brick walked in.

"How you feeling?" Boomer asked as they sat down on the chair, well Brick sitting at the edge of the bed.

"I'm fine." Butch lied again as they smiled and nodded.

"When will you being getting out?" Boomer asked as Butch shrugged.

"Maybe tomorrow." Butch said as he layed back in the pillow. He closed his eyes, and hoping that they'll won't be here whenever he passes.

"B-butch?" Brick asked as Butch hummed.

"Yes Brick?" Butch asked as he smiled inside of his head, he'll be able to hear Butch's voice one last time.

"I love you." He said without a stutter or stammered. Butch smiled and he looked at Brick. He hugged his mute friend and Brick smiled. Knowing that he made them happy for being able to speak one sentence without a stutter.

"I love you too." Butch said as they heard his heart moniter started to slow down.

"Butch, is that normal?" Boomer asked as Butch sighed and nodded. Knowing that this was gonna be one of the last lies he'll tell. He layed back on the pillows and closed his eyes. Then his moniter went flat.

"Butch!" Boomer yelled as the nurses rushed in. They tried bringing him back, and two gaurds came in and took away Brick and Boomer. Boomer was yelling Butch's name, and Brick was silently crying.

"I'm sorry for your lost." The docter said as the two boys looked at Butch and Boomer wrapped his arms around Brick, and Brick layed his head in Boomer's chest and let out his silent tears and rubbed his friend's back.
