Elizabeth's pov:
I was out in front of Shawn's house on the steps waiting for him. As the rain fell harshly I just kept sobbing in my knees. It was also quite windy and really cold out, but I could care less. Suddenly I heard a car door slam and loud footsteps running towards me.

"Elizabeth!" Shawn yelled running to me. I stood up and he hugged me so tight in his arms. Once he loosened his grip he looked at me and pushed back my soaked blonde hair. "What's wrong?" He asked as I sniffled wiping my running mascara off my cheeks.

"H-he's drunk." I hiccuped as tears started to form again. "My dad started hitting me for no reason." I began to cry again. He pulled me in tighter.

"Let's go inside." He cooed kissing my forehead. This wasn't the first time that my dads ever hit me. But it was the first time he has while I've been dating Shawn. We walked up to his room and he stared at me for at least a minute.
"Where did he hit you?" He asked.

"Near my rib cage." I softly spoke up. He lifted up my shirt to see the bruises. The recent ones and old ones. I saw tears starting to form in his eyes.

"I'll go get you some dry clothes you're staying here." He said walking to his closet. He came back and handed me one of his shirts along with sweatpants.

"Thanks." I smiled. I went in his bathroom and changed.

Shawn's pov:
I was laying in bed staring at the wall.
How could anyone hurt her? There were so many bruises and pale little scars on her stomach how did I ever miss those? Suddenly the bathroom door opened and Eli walked towards me just wearing the shirt.

"I didn't really want to wear the sweatpants..." She said laying down next to me.

"That's fine." I mumbled snaking my arm around her waist pulling her close to my body. "I want you to live with me."

"But I'm 16 and you're about to be 17, my dad wouldn't let me. Plus we've only been dating for a month." She mumbled quietly. I could tell that when she wasn't modeling I made her nervous.

"C'mon I don't want you there." I whined.

"Okay but we can get my stuff when he's at work tomorrow." She said kissing me.

"And when is that?" I asked.

"About now." She said staring at sheets.

Elizabeth's pov:
My dad was asleep on the couch and me and Shawn tip toes up to my room.
I started packing my stuff and soon I felt him wrap his arms around my waist.

"I love you baby girl" he mumbled in the crook of my neck.

"I love you more." I smiled.

"Awe how fucking cute now Shawn get the fuck out! And Eli I don't know what the hell you're packing for!" My drunk father slurred.

"She's living with me." Shawn said clenching his jaw.

"No she isn't." He said grabbing Shawn by the shirt. He pushed him off and they began fighting.

"STOP! DAD DONT HURT HIM PLEASE!!" I screamed.

"GO TO THE CAR!" Shawn yelled. I ran with a small bag of clothes and got in the car.

I sat there crying my eyes out. Why does he care so fucking much? Soon he ran out and got in the car driving away panting just trying his absolute best to catch his breath once he reached a stoplight he grabbed my face slamming our lips together I pushed my lips harder against his. Soon he pulled away
And traced his thumb over my cheek.

"I love you so much." He mumbled.

"I love you too." I smiled.

I had such little amount of clothes to wear so I just decided to wear Shawn's shirt and black knee sox. I crawled into bed with him and he held me tight in his arms.

"Baby he could've killed you." I said against his chest.

"Same to you but now you're here with me." He mumbled.

"But why do you care?" I asked.

"Shh it's been a long day we should get some sleep." He cooed rubbing my back.

"Can you sing to me?" I pouted.

"Of course." He smiled.
