Faked Deaths

Chapter 7

"These are Mediate Placement Agents. Where your crew is at," Kat says as I follow her to the windows through the hall ways. "Although you are not advanced as them. We see your potential. We know you have it in you deep down and that you will find your power soon enough and be able to control what comes with it." I nod my head reassured, noticing that she could read my mind with out having a power.

We walk to room number one and look inside. Isaiah is typing fast on the computer and creating something all at once. "Isaiah is one of the few agents, in fact, he's the only agent smarter than a human designed robot. He's the mastermind. He can hack into anything in the world he desire's." Katherine explains as I study him closely.

"Well then why doesn't he just steal from a bank and be rich forever?" I ask confused. Katherine chuckles and smiles at me and looks back at him.

"Because, all masterminds, love a little challenge." She says as she keeps walking down to door number two. I take one last glance at him then I keep walking. "Here is the most strongest man on earth. Matthew, now he can pick up three cars at a time." Matt runs towards a one ton rock and picks it up and throws it at the wall.

"He's the only Agent of ours who was able to control there strength, the other decided to use it against us.  The other person was his brother.  Now he uses that tragedy to contain something so edible." Matt punches the rock making it shatter into pebbles. We start to walk to door number three, we see a tiger. I runs towards the wall running up the wall and turning back into the Cassidy I knew. She did a back flip off the wall and landed on her feet. She turned around and waved, mouthing Hey Lexi. I waved back. "My little sister is quite the show off." Katherine chuckles and moves on.

Liz waited for something. A person turned into ten. They all ready there stance like they were going to attack. "With Elizabeth's ability with fast reflexes from her power she is able to take down at least five guys within a minute." A clock starts to beep and the Images came towards her. She picked up her little knives and threw it at the first two, they disappear.  She ran up the wall and came down punching one in the face, him disappearing. The clock read fifteen seconds. She dodge a punch and kicked him in the head. She ran towards two guys lifting her arms up and making them fall. thirty seconds. She ran in a 360 circle causing a dust storm and stopped. The last guy, the original guy was on the floor. He crawled away from her and she stepped on his chest with the boot. The clock read 45 seconds. "New Record." Kat smiles and walks to the next door.

"This is Jhene." She said finally introducing the two of us. The room was covered in snow and ice. Jhene was on top of a little ice mountain smiling and making more to jump on across the room. "She doesn't use her power to harm anybody. She doesn't want to make the same mistake she did with her brother." She walks to his room and he's just standing. His shirt was off exposing the body I thought he had. He had scars all over his body.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Andre and Jhene were alone in a tunnel. He was scaring Jhene with his temper and he was over heating. Them together is deadly with their powers because they could kill each other.  She tried to get him to cool down but she accidentally struck him with ice, making him lose control of his power and having the battle scars to prove it." Katherine explains to me. We watch him as he tries to make a fire but only sparks come out. He punches the wall. "Come."

"You can push yourself to your own power but it all comes with a price and it has to be you." Kathrine tries to explain.

"You mean I can choose?" Kat nods.

"But you can only choose once, you can't take it back. Ever." She says sternly and points to me. "Now you seen your crew in action, just try to see how they cooperate together."

"When do they--"

"No, you are going in the field too, so get ready." Kat smiles. "Your soon going to be a super hero."

"What if I am not ready, Katherine?" I ask scared.

"You don't have to be but you are." She says and turns around and walks away.

I walk back to Andres rooms and see him punching the punching bag. Why do I fall for boys who I know are too much for me? I look at his muscles down and up. "What are you looking at?" Jhene asks.

"Oh... I um... I was just--" I stutter.

"Staring at my brother?" Jhene smiles. Her energy was so nice. "Look I get it. I'm in love with Matt, so I get it and I also love my brother, but we are a crew, Be Careful. He is a ticking time bomb." She says. Jhene walks down the hall way towards the exit. I watch Andre punching the bag and it flying off the chain.

 I walk down the hall, this time with out having to be sedated or drugged at all.  This time it was willingly, because I finally knew where I belonged.  Not to dancing or basketball, not working in my friends house with my super natural fake mom. Yet, here, here is where I feel like I belong. After finding out this is my actual home.  This is where I actually belong.

I didn't understand anything until now.  Why my dad was in the picture with me and Sophia, all the unanswered questions to what the hell happened to my parents. Now I'm actually going to fight for something, my siblings are fighting for, my dad is fighting for, what I am fighting for. Justice.
