The girl I thought was my best friend led me out the hospital bunk after I changed into some sweatpants and a t-shirt. "What am I doing in here Katherine, if I so called 'belong' here people wouldn't be so quick to drug me, don't you think." I smirk as her heels clack on the ground, if you were in your room with the doors shut you could hear her. "And why the hell, are you wearing those shoes, they are annoyingly loud." I say as I follow her tail quickly.

"You are the chosen one, Alexandria," I squint my eyes and furrow my brows.

"What do you mean the chosen one?" I ask. "I don't even know who the hell I am Kat,"

"You are a super hero, Lexi, stop being so difficult." She stops and looks at me. She turns her head and looks at me and rolls her eyes. I've never saw her look so professional in my life before. She had on a plain light grey fitted skirt and a leather coat.  "I have to meet Andre."

"Stop being so difficult? Well tell me, what's my super power, what am I? Super clean?" I snap at her, pissed. It was starting to feel more personal than anything. Knowing that I was raised in a household as a maid instead of another family member because it was supposed to be my mother that was a maid, but it really wasn't my mother. "Why didn't you guys just raise me, instead you guys decided to make me clean, Is it because I'm mexican? Is this a race thing Katherine?" I finally ask what I was thinking about.

"No-- Well in ways, yes. In the rich white neighborhood being mexican means you were just the maid. We had people from the other said crawling all over that rich white neighborhood, if you were just treated like you weren't a worker they would've found out. We were trying to give us a Radar, you know?" As she turns around and starts walking again.

"No, I really don't know." I say trailing behind after her.  "You guys were basically placing me and my mother the race card."

"Lexi, she is not your mother. She was supposed to be our maid. She was our maid. She grew up with me. Her and Her husband were good people. Then my mom cheated, she went off protocol. Falling in love with someone who she was working for. They both did. He was gone away for so long my mother just feel so lost, she started to fall for somebody else."

"Wait, Sophia cheated on Jeremy," I covered my hand. "Well with who, why, I thought that Jeremy and  Sophia were in love." I said.

"Then Melinda found out, George, your father had cheated and lied when she came to tell my father and my mother then she broke down and confessed. She had no idea who it was. She didn't know who to go to, to talk about this."

Wait, but it doesn't add up, my father cheated on my mother the same time, as Sophia, my eyes widened as I looked up at Katherine. "My dad cheated on his wife with Sophia?" Katherine nodded. She started walking slow so I could walk beside her.

"Your, mother, or whatever you'd like to call her, she found out my mom was pregnant, but Jeremy was gone for a long time, so she put two and two together and found out it was her, she was the one her husband was having an affair with her on. She was so infuriated she started to talk about your fathers identity. So he had to leave and go into hiding." She says.

"But my siblings, I had brothers and sisters, I didn't know them but I know they were siblings. I never even got to find out what happened to them.--"

"Because they are on the other side. They were kidnapped and turned because your mother was threatened if she wouldn't give up Sophia's whereabouts then they would go have to switch to the other side." Katherine continues. "She knew she was almost about to have you. Then she did. George loved you very much, but he didn't love Sophia back, he wanted his wife back. She took him back as he was working to get there kids back. She went into hiding because she didn't want to lose you too because she actually fell in love with you."
