Soon, everybody would return to action like normal. Though, over time, a more hardcore style would develop. A highlight of this would be the feud between Fear and Kevin Keith. Fear was a mid-card superstar who had held onto the Hardcore Championship for some time. He would soon face the challenge of low-card superstar Kevin Keith. Both were veterans in TRRW, though everbody picked Fear to win easy, due to fighting tougher opponents than Keith. This wouldn't prove much, though, as Keith took the brawl to Fea, somehow picking up the win and the Hardcore Championship at TRRW Pain, May 1st, 2012. Fear would cash in his rematch clause the next month at Mixed Martial Mayhem, an all MMA event. Fear would recapture his gold, much to the dismay of Keith.

After once again retaining his belt on an episode of RECW against Keith, Fear went on to take on new challengers, until Keith reared his ugly head again. The two faced off again in another No-DQ match-up at TRRW Legends, September 1st. Fear held nothing back, going as far as to set up Keith on a table and moonsault off the top rope, crashing both of them through. Somehow, Keith once again stole the victory, recovering from that death-defying assult and taking back the TRRW Hardcore Championship. His reign was short lived when a No-DQ rematch saw Fear win the title back once again. Keith and Fear would continue to talk trash about their back and forth rivalry, soon comkng to a head in an arena cage match at November 1st's Destruction. In an arena cage match, the entire arens excluding the audience is caged and the only way to win is to open the cage door, located by the curtain at the top of the ramp, and walk out. After moonsaults, Scary Spears, chairs, being put through tables, and using the cage itself to inflict pain, Fear finally managed to walk out champion. One last No-DQ match at 10-Man-Battle in December saw the two broken, bruised, and sore men fight one last again, with Fear coming out the victor.

An angry Keith realized if he was to put down Fear for good, he would have to take him to a new level, a new hight, and he did so in a ladder match at WillPower 2 on the first day of 2013. Fear proved he was not afraid to go to new hights, and after the ladder was used as a weapon, and many falls off said ladder, Keith was put down and Fear climbed high, retaining his championship and introducing a new hardcore style in TRRW.

The two would rarely cross paths after this, though one year later Fear would win the RECW Championship after being screwed out of it multiple times, and Kevin Keith would join Still Fly in 2014, before screwing Hunter out of his TRRW Championship at WillPower 3, and went on to unify the RECW and TRRW Championships, only to lose the TRRW belt to Hunter, who unified them permently months later.

This feud would go on to trigger a more hardcore style amongst wrestlers in TRRW. In 2014, a group called the New Generation debuted, taking this extreme to a new level. They were TRRW rejects, and helped whomever they felt were the 'new generation'. They debuted March 1st, 2013 at Last Resort by attacking current RECW Champion Zombie's opponent to help him retain his championship. They went on to state their reson for being, and attacked whoever stood in their way until they got contracts. They soon did recieve contracts, and continued to help Zombie through April. In July, they could not help Zombie and were forced to watch as he lost his championship in a lumberjack match.

That same night, the members of the New Generation attacked Code Blue after he won his Universal Championship match and Fear after he won his Hardcore Championship match. Code Blue had been a dominent Universal Champion after beating the longest reigning champion, who had held the belt for 10 months at that time, in Feburary 2013 at Aftershock, mere hours before his reign was a full year long.

The New Generation would state their intentions of winning chapionship gold from the men they attacked. In August at the Switch, Cory Feitel defeated Code Blue to win the Universal Championship. Shout Out would face Fear for the Hardcore Championship. Fear would DDT Shout Out off the top of the cell, and Shout Out would hit a superplex off the cell. Just when Fear was about to win, the NG came out to keep the champ in and help Shout Out steal the gold.

At September's Legends event, the New Generation would retain their championships, and Shout Out would even counter Fear's moonsault by pointing a chair up, forcing Fear's gut onto it. Ouch.

In November, the effects of Shout Out's hardcore matches could be seen through the returning Nicky Veil as he faced Mykal Dingle and Nova Cane in a handicap match at Destruction. He he would hit a top rope DDT to the ringside area to Mykal Dingle, crash landing on Nova Cane. He would also hit a Pepsi Plunge to Nova Cane through the announce table, soon tapping MSD out with a rear naked choke.

At WillPower 3, the tag titles were won by Shout Out and Frank Hankmen, though the Hardcore Championship was lost to SpiderMonkey in a lumberjack match after an apron moonsault to the outside took out the champ, and Hankmen destracted the ref from counting the pin. Cory hit the Codebreaker, though SpiderMonkey kicked out and went on to beat the champion.

The NG would help Kevin Keith win the TRRW Championship alongside Veil, MSD, Nova Cane, Trickster 2 & 3, after Steel destracted the referee from a pin. Veil hit Ardnek's Love on s
Steel while Keith was rolled up by Hunter. Keith kicked out and hit his new finisher, the Kevin KO, to pin Hunter. Everyone then entered the ring and celebrated by hitting all their finishers on Steel and Hunter, making them fan favorites yet again, and this group the most despised ever. The group named Still Fly would go on tonwreck havoc in TRRW.

Nicky Veil would challenge Fear for the RECW Championship at Last Resort in March, though the bout was contested in a steel cage. Veil would hit a Dorito Disaster front flip senton from the top of the cage, as well as a Pepsi Plunge from the top of the cage, though Fear came back with a Scary Spear not long after. Fear stole the high corner knee & bulldoh and the Pickle Piledriver of Nicky Veil and Veil recovered with a Vice Versa and Ardnek's Love. Fear would take back control before the Tricksters came out and destracted Fear, helping Veil get a roll up victory and the RECW Championship.

Kevin Keith, who had retained his championship against Hunter and Steel, would soon ask Veil for a raise. Veil denied it, asking that Keith prove himself more before he recieved a raise. Keith would leave Still Fly, and challenge Veil to unify the two heavyweight chamoionships in TRRW. At eXtreme Impact in April, they fought in a ladder match for both titles. Keith set up the ladder on Veil, who rested in the corner, and dropkicked it hard. A Kevin KO and Ardnek's Love would be hit off the ladder, yet both men continued to fight. Keith went for a move on Veil, but Veil countered with a neckbreaker onto the ladder. Keith would be set up on a table and Swanton-ed through it, and Keith would roll out, holding the ladder. Veil hit a suicide dive regardless, and set up the ladder in the ring and hit a leg drop to the outside onto Keith. After a Kevin KO, both men struggled to crawl up the ladder, with Veil grabbing the TRRW Championship and Keith grabbing the RECW Championship.

At Agony of Defeat in May, Keith beat Veil with both championships on the line, though Still Fly restarted the match, demanding only the TRRW Championship be on the line. A destracted Keith would immediately suffer an Ardneck's Love and be pinned, thus Veil leaving TRRW Champion, and Keith leaving RECW Champion.

Nicky Veil would soon lose the title to Nightfall, and Death Veil would join TRRW. Nicky and Death would reform their old tag team, this time as the Age of Awesomeness. They would challenge for the TRRW Tag Team Championships against Shout Out and Frank Hankmen at August's Switch event.
