"I WANT YOU HOME, NOW." Spencer's mother voice says, and Spencer wince when she realize her mother was furious with her.

"Are you crazy?! I thought you were with your uncle! Guess my reaction when I was watching the news to see my daughter, across the flipping world, almost drowning! You are in so much trouble, and hanging with those criminals?! I expected better from you, of all people Spencer! I do not want you near them anymore! Do you hear me young lady?! I want you home when you are released from the hospital, and if you're not home in a week, I'll get you myself. Do you understand me?" Her mother almost shouted in her ear, her voice full of anger. She was absolutely pissed with Spencer.

Spencer opens her mouth to answer but her mother beats her to it. "And what if they hurt you?! God Spencer! I swear when--" Spencer cuts her off before she can rant even more.

"Mom! Mom, calm down. They didn't hurt me, they would never hurt me--"

"I find that hard to believe! They are criminals Spencer! They are always hurting people--"

"But Demi is not like them! She would never hurt me! Mom, she saved me!" Spencer says, pressing the phone to her ear as she sits up. "Neither her friends, well except that butthole Francisco who--"

"Well she's gonna end up hurting you too baby girl, you can't trust criminals. Listen, rest up, and when you're good to go, come home sweetie. I don't want you to get hurt anymore or be in danger, okay? I love you," She says and Spencer sighs, nodding and then run a hand through her blonde hair.

"Okay, okay, I love you too mom. But trust me when I say Demi will never hurt me, she wouldn't do that to me, she cares about me even if she never says it. Alright?" Spencer tells her.

"Whatever you say, Spence. I want you home. I'll talk to you later," Her mom says.

"Bye mom." Spencer murmurs, before hanging up the phone and setting the phone back on the nightstand beside her hospital bed.

Spencer softly groans, covering her face with her hands. She stays like that for a few moments before sighing, and dropping her hands on her lap. Looking around her hospital room, she frowns to herself. She remember waking up in the boat, and the police knocking Demi out. They took her and Spencer away, even if she screamed and thrash, shouting at them to not take Demi away from her and that she wasn't dangerous.

Spencer had a couple of rough hours, being question by officers, getting check up from the doctors and watching the news, it seemed that car chase went international on TV, that was how her mother knew and immediately called Spencer.

She wonder where everyone else was, she knew that they took Demi to prison, but where was everyone else?

As if reading her thoughts, a knock sounded from her door and she looks up. "Come in," she calls out to whoever was on the other side of the door.

The door opens and Spencer smiles, seeing Haruki coming in, but then her smile fades a bit when she saw him drag a man with him inside. Haruki closes the door and walks over to her, the guy standing awkwardly by her bed.

"Hey kiddo, how are you feeling?" Haruki says, looking down at her with a smile.

"I'm alright, they want to keep me overnight just in case. But who's he?" She motions to the guy with a flick of her head, glancing at him.

The man steps forward, and gives her a polite smile. "I'm Jasper, nice to meet you. I am the Australian street racer, and I'm a good friend of Haruki." The man says, a Australian accent hinted in his voice as he motions to Haruki.

"Oh." Spencer nods, she has seen him around at the races. "Hi, I'm Spencer. Sorry for pretty much destroying your city," She gives him a sheepish smile.
