                                                                                                 Julian

I had dropped off Brook from her apartment. I couldn't believe she beat me. Boy was she something.

I was hoping to see her soon, very soon. I was reluctant to let the night swing by so I stayed up texting her. I know I have training tomorrow but it's Brook.

I woke up to see Sead in undergarments, not the best start. I let that memory go to waste, while I poured myself some coffee. I got a wink from Seed as he passed by the kitchen.

"Julian who's the girl?" he finally questioned after multiple stares followed by fake coughs. I don't know how he noticed that their was a 'girl' I had hidden all my tracks. No. I wasn't embarrassed of Brook nor Sead, it's just that when you start a new relationship there is a certain 'glimmer' I wanted that to last for Brook and I.

" Their's no girl Sead'' I rushed myself hoping that I didn't make a mistake. But I did. I laughed. Sead knows me best so he knew something was up.

Thankfully, Sead let me breathe another day. I grabbed my training kit and grabbed my keys and headed for training.

Practice was over and I was energized, I wanted to control it though because Sead just smiled at me. I got dressed and was ready to head out until I got a text from Brook.

Brook; Hello, wanna go roller skating? i'm bored and I wanna beat you at roller skating. is that cool. xx

me; I just got out from training, tbh I could use a rematch. I'm all down for it,

Brook; I was worried you were going to reject my offer, I thought you were a boy before Jules. Now you're a man. but can you beat the queen?

me; Phh! that isn't a challenge, I could beat you a thousand times and a thousand more.

Brook; whatever you say sir-prince Jules.

I was excited for a rematch, but how does one dress for roller-skating?

I then realized I needed to turn to the fashion expert, Sead. I sighed and saw that he was watching spongebob-square-pants.

I casually sat down next to Sead by the brown leather couch. This was it-

"So my former-friend came by the apartment, we exchanged numbers and agreed we would meet at at the roller skating rink. I really like her, but what should I wear" I lied, my face twitched my voice was unstable. It was like a horror movie.

Sead apparently got the memo that I was lying so he came up with the worst answer.

"undergarments, they reveal the true layers of a person" he said sternly. I guess that was my cue to back off or tell Sead about Brook.

I knew what I had to do.

"okay Sead i'm sorry, there's a girl. A wonderful girl if you ask me. I don't know much about fashion whatsoever so can you please help me?" I was expecting a nodd or even a 'uhm'. What I got was widely different.

"Yeah Julian! c'mon, c'mon." he dragged me to my room. He was looking through my closet. He looked bored at just my clothing 'style'.

he finally put together some sneakers, a navy-polo coat and some black jeans. I was pleased, now let's go meet up with Brook.

me; ohhhhh

Brook: are you riding something? cause you could've re-scheduled and you could be 'riding' once more.

me; it was a song lyric

Brook; must be a very boring song then

me; well

I arrived at the skating rink and it was quite full. Luckily, Brook had bought a soda from the stand and wasn't satisfied so she started fighting with the guy. I quickly made my way over to them.

"Give me my money back! this soda is expired! how are you going to serve this to a consumer" she was arguing with the male and she brought on some good points.

"you asked for a expired soda! ms!" If that was true then that was a horrible decision from Brook. "Hey you!" the man pointed at me. "you're girlfriend is crazy" I walked over to him and I had no idea what I was doing adrenaline was running through my veins. I was strong, I had the courage. So I punched him really hard, He had a nice strong core so it hurt me as well.

Security was roaming all around the rink making sure I was leaving the rink as fast as possible. I looked over at Brook, she really did want to skate and I ruined those chances.

"i'm sorry Brook. I didn't know you loved roller skating that much." I comforted her massaging her back.

"It's not that it's just that I never had someone who would fight for me" and then it hit me, Brook wasn't mad about my actions. She was grateful to have finally found someone who protects her.

"I would do it a thousand times and a thousand more" She smiled at me.

"Jules, I know and I would do the same"

god I love her.
