Coley's P.O.V.
"Coley, wake up!" Jack screamed.
It was the first day of school and I knew that today would suck. I'm already a bit behind schedule and feel like I could burst into tears any second because of how sucky my situation is.
As I rolled out of bed I made my way over to the boxes that still held most of my belongings. I found my mirror and placed it on the sink as I brushed my teeth and hair. I then washed my face and suddenly, tears began to flow. I miss my home. I miss my track team, my friends, my aunt, the city, the constant noise reminding you that you're a part of something. But that's all gone now.
I came from about 1,200 miles away and I know no one here except for my brother jack. It's junior year for me and I moved over spring break. He has been living here for quite a while and I was forced to come because of some problems back in New York. I left everyone and everything I ever knew.

It had been a while as I sat by the large box that said COLEYS CLOTHES and waited for an outfit to speak to me. "NICOLE JOHNSON IF YOU DONT GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT I SWEAR I'LL MAKE YOU WALK" due to that he was a year older than me he got his license first. I decided to tell him to leave so that I could run to school. I chose a pair of black lace trimmed shorts and a white v-neck top to match my black high socks and white sneakers that had been slightly discolored due to the amount of time I spent running. I left the house and started to run had my phone playing Rock me by one direction. At one point I was running so fast that I didn't notice the boy walking opposite me. OK maybe it was also because I was rocking out so hard to the song but at that point I was around the corner of the school. When I bumped into him the boy looked up and yelled "What the hell watch it" not that I was feeling confident at all at my new school but now at least I know I'm great at making friends.  "Sorry I wasn't paying attention" I answered. The boy scoffed and walked away. Eventually I made my way over to the table at which my brother was sitting he was surrounded by a couple of girls and three guys, "hey, there she is guys I would like you to meet my sister Nicole but you can call her Coley. Coley this is Tyler, Nate and Sammy"
"Hey guys it's nice to meet you" that's what I was thinking until I looked up and saw Tyler's face. Tyler was the guy ran into... WOW isn't that great he's one of my brothers best friends.
"Hey" they all said in unison Tyler winking at me playfully.
"Well you better be getting to the office so that you can get your schedule, and your personal guide" jack said filling up the silence.
"Okay bye guys" I waved and made my way into the office.
Standing by the desk were two girls staring directly at me. "Hi, my name is Nicole.."
They cut me off "just the girl we've been waiting for!" They pulled me into a room and handed me a schedule and a couple of books along with a complementary denim backpack, which apparently was a gift from them. "Hello my name is Hailey and this is Liz" Hailey said "let's get to your locker and help you settle in" Liz proposed
As we walked I couldn't help but notice the whispers of my new piers all around me "Don't mind them they just want a good look at the new girl" Hailey laughed. We hung out by my locker and talked for a while. "I think we just found out new best friend" Liz laughed. As we made our way to our first class. It just so happened that we all shared the same schedule.
Due to the fact that I skipped a grade, I am in  jack's grade and therefore some of his classes. This one, math, just so happened to be one of them. We walked in a bit late and for some reason I couldn't peel my eyes off of the guy in the back of the room he was covered in tattoos and had an angry look about him. But at the same time he looked dark and mysterious, once he noticed me staring returned the stare making . me feel vulnerable and naked, but at the same time, like butterflies were erupting in my stomach. By the look in his deep dark eyes I knew he felt the same way. Eventually I lost our staring match when the teacher introduced me to the class and sent me in the direction of the seat directly in between the mysterious guy and Jack. The boy occasionally looked over at me and i felt as though he was staring into my soul. When the class ended he had left behind a paper on his desk. "Jack Gilinsky 3473934479" was written on it  which I'm guessing was his number and below that was "to the girl with the eyes" and an arrow pointing to my seat
