Chapter ten
On the way to third period I tried like hell to hide that what randel had said didn't scare the crap out of me. Robert returned the note. My heart raced as I read it. This is what it said:
I can't tell you, meet me at the park by the lake at eight tonight. And don't speak not even a word to ANYONE about this. Not even me. Get rid of this note. Rip it to shreads so nobody can read it.
It confused me. What was the point of meeting him at the park at eight? I wasn't even sure I could get out of the house at eight. I'd have to sneak out. I was deturmened to be there though. I had to know what this was all about. I had to know. What randel meant about telling me to stay away or I'd regret it. His words replayed in my head, the look of fury and worry in his eyes as they went from silver to red. I didn't know what to think. I did know one thing though, I had to figure this out.
