Chapter 5: Talking with Mermaids

Peter Pan's Perspective

I decide to take Y/N to Mermaid Lagoon with all of the lost boys like last time. But I knew she didn't want to go because she had her hands crossed across her chest.

We were almost there when all of the sudden I sensed someone was in Neverland. It was Captain Hook. Perfect, just in time. I couldn't let him leave again. I turned to the lost boys.

"Boys it looks like our game has changed. Captain Hook is back in Neverland. I need you to make sure he doesn't find a way off the island." All the boys were yelling while they ran away. It was just Y/N and I now. We continued to walk and she asked, "What you said earlier did you really mean it?"

"What did I say earlier?"

"That everyone wants to be around me no matter what I do."

"Well yes, but not me."

"You said everyone including you."

"What! No I didn't oh look were here!" Thank god Mermaid Lagoon saved me from a very unpleasant argument. I ran to the water.

"Hey wait!" She yelled but I keep going. When I got to the water Y/N was right behind me. I used a seashell to call them to the shore. The fun thing was Y/N didn't know they were evil. But even so I want to show them to her.

Y/N's Perspective

Peter and I were at this place called Mermaid Lagoon. I was surprised that Peter took me here. Since archery practice he has been acting weird around me. Maybe he knows I kinda like him. That won't be good. I look down at the water and I saw 10 mermaids swim up to the shore. I was speechless. I couldn't believe my eyes. I sat down and tried to talk to the mermaids. But a lot of talked to Peter instead of me. Wow guess evil minds think alike. Only 1 of them tried to talk to me.

"What up with your friends? Why are they all drooling over Pan?" I saw Peter look at me as though he felt sorry for me. I just rolled my eyes.

"Oh my sisters all think Pan is cute but I think he is totally NOT!" I started looking at him seeing how cute he really is.

"I don't know, he is a little cute." Oh my god, I can't believe I just said that out loud. He could of heard me!

"Uh another girl hung over on Peter!"

"Wait what do you mean another?"

"Well about 3 years ago a girl came with Peter here and she hung out with him all the time but suddenly she left."

"Um I got to go." I ran off leaving the mermaid and ran over to Peter.

"Hey merfreaks, get outta here. I need to have a talk with Peter." Peter looked up at me and told the mermaids to leave.
