Chapter 6: The Moment

Peter Pan's Perspective

Y/N sat next to me.

"What is it? Aren't you having fun?"

"I guess a little."

"Then what's the problem?"

"Just do you really believe I'm that girl from 3 years ago?"

"Of course you are. I already explained this to you." I don't know what to do to get out of this conversation.

"But are you 100% sure it's me?" I stood up and Y/N looked confused. I walk a little bit over to a open space and signaled her to come over. She walked over to me with a weird look.

"This is how sure I am." I bowed to her and she curtsied. I was surprised she did that because of how she acts. I grabbed her hand and put my other hand on her hip. With her confused look on her face, she put her hand on my shoulder. We started to dance but I didn't really know how and I don't think Y/N did either. But we did it anyway.

Y/N's Perspective

Oh crap I'm dancing with Peter Pan! The most ruthless person I have ever met. But it felt so right as much as I didn't want it to. I couldn't just stop, that would be rude so I will just continue until it's over.

Peter Pan's Perspective

The only way for her to trust me would be if she fell for me. As disgusted as I was, I leaned in. Y/N backed away.

"Peter, I can't kiss you, it would be to weird so lets just leave it at this!" She ran away in the opposite direction of the camp. I ran after her yelling her name but she wouldn't stop. I smiled even so. So she wants to play hardball, huh? Well she better watch out because now I'm in the game. Everyone knows I never fail.

Peter Pan's Perspective

I send all of my lost boys after Y/N. But I'm afraid I won't find her before dark. I can leave her out in Neverland. This is a dangerous place. My plan won't work without her.

Y/N's Perspective

I keep running and running till I couldn't anymore. I climbed up a tree and sat there thinking about what I had just done. I just slow danced with a guy who is evil, ruthless, and cruel. Then he tried to kiss me. What else could go wrong. I heard branches and twigs snap behind me. Speaking of more things going wrong. I jumped out of the tree and fell on my bad foot. For sure I broke it this time. I couldn't move and it hurt so bad I screamed. That surely gave my position away.

In a few minutes, the lost boys found me and Felix put me on his shoulder again. I would have tried to get out of it but I couldn't move. We got back to camp and Felix put me down but left me standing on one foot. Pan saw me and he looked relieved.

"Y/N! You're alright!" He said sarcastically. He ran up to me but I pushed him.

"No Peter, stop acting like nothing happened." He looked at me then helped me sit down. He set me down then whispered in my ear, "We will talk about this tomorrow. You need to get some sleep." It sent shivers down my spine. He smirked and walked away to went his treehouse. I fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning, I didn't want to wake up. After what I had been though last night, I didn't want to face it. Peter came to the camp and found me. He made me sit up but I didn't want too.

Pan's Perspective

Alright, here we go. I have to act like I like her.

"Ok we can talk now."

"I don't want to talk! I want you to explain! Why on earth would you do that!"

"Look, I can explain."

"Then start talking!"

"Well I want to prove how much I believe in you and well the trying to kiss you was a accident." I lied.

"What do you mean, an accident?"

"I was saying to myself that I shouldn't do it because we're just friends."

"More acquaintances than friends. And do what?"

"Kiss you. But you stopped me. Thanks by the way."

Y/N's Perspective

"But why did you make me dance with you?"

"You already know why." And I did. He really did like me. But I couldn't show that I liked him.

Peter Pan's Perspective

"Alright come on let's go. I want to show you something." I wanted to show her Skull Rock. She looked at me like I was crazy and then I realized, she can't walk. I fixed it using magic. We ran through the woods and to a cliff at the end of the island where the spring was. Y/N looked around.

"What are we doing here Pan? We're in the middle of nowhere!"

"I just thought you'd like to see something." I sat down at the end of the cliff and motioned her to come over. But she stood there motionless.

"I not going over there. I afraid of heights!" (Sorry if your not afraid of heights!) I stood up and took her hand.

"You'll be fine. I promise and even though I might not be the most well behaved boy on the island but I always keep my promises." She looked at me and nodded. I led her over to the edge and sat down. We saw the sun go down. Did Y/N like me for real? She put her head on my shoulder and at that moment, I realized that she did. Perfect, she fell right into my trap.
