In this story, Vanya is 2 years old and has a yearly medical appointment with her pediatrician.

It was a bright morning, and the Raisinghania household was busy as usual. Today was a special day—not just because Vanya was excited for kindergarten, but also because she had her yearly check-up with her pediatrician.

Riddhima, still adjusting to her routine, sat on the bed with Vanya, brushing her soft curls. "Doctor?" Vanya asked in her tiny voice, looking at her mother with big, curious eyes.

"Yes, sweetheart. We're going to visit your doctor today," Riddhima replied, trying to keep her voice cheerful. "She'll check if my little princess is growing strong and healthy!"

Vansh, who had just stepped in, chuckled as he leaned against the doorframe. "And maybe get a lollipop if she behaves well."

Vanya clapped her hands, clearly excited about the reward. Meanwhile, Riddhima looked at Vansh with mild nervousness. "I don't remember much about these things. What do they usually check?"

Vansh walked over and sat beside her. "It's just a routine check-up—height, weight, a few basic health checks. Nothing to worry about." He glanced at Vanya, who was now playing with her little fingers. "She's perfectly fine, just like her mother."

Riddhima blushed slightly but nodded, feeling a bit reassured. "Then let's get her ready."

As they prepared to leave, Vanya suddenly pouted. "No ouchie, okay?"

Vansh exchanged a look with Riddhima, and they both knew what she meant—the possibility of a vaccine. "Let's see what the doctor says, hmm?" Vansh said, scooping her up in his arms.

And with that, the little family headed out, ready for Vanya's check-up.

At the pediatrician's clinic, Vanya sat on Riddhima's lap, her tiny fingers clutching her mother's dupatta. The waiting room was filled with other children, some playing, some crying, and a few curiously staring at her.

Vansh sat beside them, scrolling through his phone, but his attention kept drifting toward Riddhima and Vanya. Riddhima gently rocked their daughter, whispering a soft lullaby to keep her calm.

"Vanya Raisinghania?" The nurse called out, and Vanya immediately tightened her grip on Riddhima's dupatta.

Riddhima smiled reassuringly. "Come on, sweetheart. It won't take long."

Vansh stood up and led the way into the doctor's office. Inside, Dr. Khanna, a warm and friendly woman in her late fifties, greeted them with a smile. "Ah, my little Vanya! How are you today?"

Vanya buried her face in Riddhima's shoulder, peeking out shyly.

"She's a little nervous," Riddhima admitted.

"That's perfectly normal." Dr. Khanna turned to Vanya. "How about we check your teddy first?" She picked up a plush teddy from the examination table and pretended to check its heartbeat with a stethoscope. "See? All good!"

Vanya giggled and finally loosened up a little.

The check-up began with simple things—height, weight, and general observations. "She's growing beautifully," Dr. Khanna commented, making both parents smile.

Then came the moment Vanya dreaded—the vaccine. As the nurse prepared the injection, Vansh immediately took Vanya from Riddhima's lap and held her close. "Look at me, princess," he said, distracting her.

But the sharp pinch made Vanya wail loudly. "Papa! Ouchie!"

Riddhima's heart ached, and she quickly kissed her daughter's forehead. "Oh no, my brave girl! It's over now, see?"
