~-America's POV-~

"What!? Are you serious!?" I shouted as England packed his bags.

The Brit sighed, zipping his suitcase shut. "America, I honestly can't see what you're so worked up about. Just keep him down there, try to get some information out of him while I'm in my country doing some business. I'll be back. It won't be that hard, love." He muttered, making his way down the stair case towards the front door.

I grabbed his shoulder and forced him to turn to me. "That'll be in two weeks, England! You promised he'd be home in a few days!" I exasperatedly stressed my point. "England, you're obviously not going to get anything out of him!"

Arthur smiled, placing his hand over my own. "No. Maybe not me. But you certainly can, with your inhuman strength. You could snap him in half like a toothpick if you wanted."

My eyes widened and I stumbled back, shocked he'd even suggest I'd use my strength to hurt someone. "WHAT!? Are you serious? No way am I so much as laying a hand on him if that's what you want me to use my strength for!" I snapped. "You know what? Go. Just get out. Don't come back. I'll see you in the next world meeting." I demanded shoving him out the door.

Before I could slam shut my door, Arthur pulled me down and pressed his lips to my own. "Calm down, love. You don't have to if you don't want to. I'll see you at the world meeting." Then he was off.

~-Several hours later-~

"And he's out!" I whooped, rushing down the basement stairs. "England is out of the amazingly heroic and awesome U.S.A! He's flying over the oh-so beautiful Atlantic! HAHA!" I flipped the switch to see the silent Italian surprised at my outburst. "I can finally get you home! I'll say that while I was napping, and you escaped some weird Italian way, and I was too lazy and hungry to find you and get you, and you got out of the country, and back to your brother! Smart, right!?" I explained as I untied the rope, and pranced around.

Even though I've been feeding him for the past few days and he didn't seem scared of me anymore, Italy refused to speak or smile. Not even in his native tongue.

Before I could rejoice further, my doorbell rang. I groaned and trudged to my door. "What do you wa-" I stopped, rubbed my eyes, then stared. After several minutes of staring, I groaned, figuring out why my look-alike was standing before me. "Are you serious? Are you the one England was talking to the other day? Ahrg, he sent you to babysit me? Do you even know why?" I whined, letting in my younger brother.

Canada sighed, nodding. "Of course I know." He whispered, cuddling his polar bear to his chest. "I have to make sure you're trying to get information out of Italy about the affairs in Germany and Japan. Also, I need to keep an eyes out making sure that you doing sneak him out. England thinks you'd try to pull some idiot move like that."

"'Idiot move'? I'm not an idiot!" I pouted, slouching down on my couch after shutting my door. "I wasn't going to let him go! So you can go back to Canadia or North Montanta, whatever it is you call it." I grinned up at him.

Matthew sighed, settling down on the reclinable chair next to the couch. "Canada." He muttered. "I'm just going to be here until England can trust you. I'm going to update him everyd-" he started to explain until I shot to my feet, my confused expression cutting him off.

"'Until England can trust me?'" I repeated, furrowing my brow. "Really? Did he say that?" My Canadian brother just nodded. "Dammit, is that guy stupid or something!?" I shouted, causing my little brother to sink back in the chair. Our of the corner of my eyes, I saw Italy peeking out the basement door. Even he flinched at my tone. "He doesn't trust me? If he can't trust me, why are we still in a relationship!?" I snatched my phone up off the coffee table and stormed off to the kitchen, angrily dialing England's number. Hopefully he's landed. Or I'd be seriously pissed.
