Chapter One
"C'mon! We're gonna be late!" Mother yelled. We were heading down to San Antonio, Texas, where my cousin, Alex, lives.
"I'm coming!' I yelled. I grabbed my stuff and ran down the stairs. I went to geab an apple. Mom pulled me away.
"No! No time for that!" She said
"Really?" I questioned.
I hopped in the car just as Alex texted me.
Alex; Hey Cousinn Katiee!
Me; Hi Alex.
Alex; What's up? You on your way?
Me; Yeah, just leaving.
Alex;Great! Well my friend is having a cook out. He asked me to go. I said I couldn't because you and your mom are coming. He said I could bring you and your mom. Is that okay?
Me; Sure.
Alex; Great! Well I'm going to bed. See you in 19 HOURS! LOL.
Me; Don't remind me.
It wasn't a long drive to the airport. But when we got there I was tired.
"Mom? How much longer?" I asked.
"'Bout 2 hours." she said. I sighed, and fell asleep.
