This is my story of my friend called 'Hello'. One day, my friend went to school, like usually, but this time this school was different. 1. It was a new school (Secondary school). 2.
Everyone was quiet when I was walking passed them. 3. No one had any friends. They were on their own all the time. I didn't like this school everyone was weird. The next day while walking to school a girl came to me and whispered" I'm not allowed to talk to you because this is the school rule: not to talk anyone else. But I'm bored so can we be friends?"
"Of course, but I need to know your name!" Hello shouted happily.
"Ok but, but shhh, my name is 'Katy', what is your name?" Katy said quietly.
"My name is Hello." Hello said to Katy.
"No I meant your name not saying hello to me because I know you, apart from your name that I'm trying to know." Katy said.
"But this is my name, 'Hello' what's wrong with my name?" Hello said again.
"Oh, ok then, well then hello Hello." Katy laughed with Hello.
So from now on they were friends they couldn't talk in school but they could while walking to school and coming back from the school. This was the 1st friend in this school that Katy and Hello had. She was surprised about the rule. And she knew that this school is weird, it is a secondary school it has lots of people but they have no friends so me and Katy wanted to do something with this. Hello and Katy went to the head teacher and so they said" who thought of this rule: Not to talk to anyone else? It is a stupid rule!! It's not fair for all the children; I want it to be a normal school!!"
The head teacher didn't answer. We didn't know this and after few minutes he spoke" Why are you here get out, NOW!! You don't understand this I had a sad childhood it wasn't fair on me in that time so I think it shouldn't be fair today!"
We said" We do understand but why are you mistreating the children? Maybe it was not fair on you but you're too old now to play like a child you're an adult we have different times. We understand you had a sad childhood but now you have to change yourself even though this whole sad thing happened when you were young. Come on!"
The head teacher said" Why are you still here go away. In the other hand, I need some help and would you help me? It's really hard to answer your question and really hard to describe it even more so it's easier to say you don't understand it you are still are child. And I'm an adult"
And then Katy said" We are really sorry to disturb you but me and Hello wanted to help and that's it. Cause even I understand it and I'm really bad in things like that."
And the head teacher finally said "thank you for the talk I will try to change myself and in the next half term I will change my rules in this school and let it be normal. So children like you can open themselves up!! How can I repay you for all the good things you gave me?"
And me and Katy finally said "Oh you don't have to give us anything just change the rules and we won't tell anyone about this, what has happened here. So don't worry. Me and Katy are good friends and we will always keep it in a secret."
And from now they kept it in a secret. The next year... 'this is the best school!!'
And this is my story of 'Hello' people learned how to communicate to each other. This is why I called this story 'Hello'. This girl called 'Hello' is really brave and shows you how to stand up for yourself and how to help, even adults!
