when I saw "Kita" on the screen of my phone I felt bad, I didn't know why she was calling me, maybe because I didn't tell her that I was at my best friend's.

I took my phone and I replyed to the call. I heard that Kita was crying and then she said "luke, I need you and Derrien isn't here, please."

"what happened?" I asked with a worried voice.

"they called me, for Bridget." and after this I got up from bed and I walked in the room for go out of the door, "I'll be there in some minutes" I said.

it's not a good sign when they call. I did my best to walk as quickly as possible and when I was in front of the door of my house I saw it was open and so I came in.

I looked around to see where Kita was, I eventually realized that she might be in her and Derrien's room and I walked there. As I thought she was there and I went close to her.

"Kita?" I asked but I haven't received any response but then I saw that she got up and came to me to hug me. I stroked her back and with that she started to cry again, "what did they tell to you?" I said in a whisper.

"they don't want to give her to me, Luke" she said, I know how hard it is because I seen her so for a long time, this story go on for like three years now.

"you'll see that we'll make it" I replied, she shook her head "they said that we're not in a good economic state and maybe they're let a family to adopt her.."

after hearing her words, I thought of something. "maybe I have a solution" and her now was looking at me "I can start today to work, school will end in two days and so I think it's not a big deal if I don't go there for the last days, also I don't like that school."

"are you sure about this?" she said with a little more hope in her voice. I nodded and said "I'm more than sure." and when I saw her smile I calmed down a little.

"sometimes I hate you but I know you're a good boy and I want to thank you for what you do for this family, I make mistakes sometimes like when I say that you're a child because I realize in moment like this I'm wrong, and I'm really wrong about you." I was surprised by her words, it was rare for her to say things like this.

"you don't have to thank me, you know, I hate you too sometimes but I'm glad you adopted me really, and I'm doing this for all the family, you know how much I love Bridget, she is a good child and we'll have her back."

"okay okay, stop with this or I'll become sentimental" she said laughing and I laughed in my turn, she was funny when she tried to change the subject.

"where were you last night?" and I just shrugged my shoulders, "at my best friend's, I wanted to spend some time with him" I said after two minutes or so.

"yes, yesterday he came here and asked for you" and after this she left the room, I have never known anyone more strange than her, I laughed and I just went to my room.

I looked around to find my laptop and I sat on the bed, then I waited for my laptop to come on and I took my phone for write a message to Finnegan.

I knew that he would say yes, he's a good friend of mine and he know in in which situation I am. I looked at the clock and it was almost 2 p.m and I let out a "fuck" because I might be late on the first day of work, I got up of bed immediately and I went in the bathroom for fix my hair and I saw that I had also black bags under my eyes and I let out a sigh and I gave up, I came back in the room and after taking my phone.

"Kita, I'm going to work" I said as I left my home, I started walking faster and I glanced at the clock of my phone, I realized that I was a bit late but when I raised my eyes again I noticed I'm arrived, I smiled at myself.

I entered the music shop and I looked around, it was as usual. "hello luke!" I heard and I saw Finnegan in front of me, "hi Finn!" I replied, he hugged me and I smiled, hugging him back.

"how are you?" he asked and I didn't know how to reply, these days were strange and I feel like it something is gonna to change but I don't know what.

"I'm fine and what about you?" I lied a little because I don't want to bother him with something stupid, but I'm a good liar sometimes.

"I'm good too, thanks" he smiled at me. I smiled back "I'm glad you're okay, so what you want me to do?"

"maybe you'll hate me but you know that I love you, right?" he said with an innocent voice and I laughed, "go to point, Finn."

"well, I need to go to do something and I want to ask if you can watch the shop for an hour, I'll be back soon" and in that moment I thought he was really stupid, he know that I'll say yes anyway.

"obviously, you know that I would have said yes, so why this turn of words?" he shrugged his shoulders and replied with "I wanted to be sure, you know how I am."

"yes, I know, but now go." he thanked me again and then went out of the shop, I just sat on a chair and waited for someone to come.

"I need some help" I heard someone who said these words, when I saw who this person was, I was surprised.

"calum?" he looked at me and with a puzzled expression he said, "luke? what are you doing here?"

"maybe I work here? and this is none of your business" he raised his hands as if to defend himself and I rolled my eyes, "I'm sorry if I asked, I don't see you here so."

"I work here only on the summer but I repeat, this is none of your business" he didn't say anything about it and maybe and just maybe I thanked him for it, I didn't want to talk about my life to someone like him

"I was looking for a gift for my sister and I were wondering if you could help me" so he has a sister.

"sure, what kind of music listen your sister?" I asked and he thought about it and I can understand it from his expression.

"she talk to me of a band usually, like all time low or something like that" he said after a minute and I nodded.

"so I think it's easy to find something" I said and I began to walk through the shelves for find what I was looking for, when I found it he looked at me.

"yes, she said something about it." I knew it was the best thing for a gift. "I was right!"

"yes, how much does it cost?" he asked. "7.45$" I replied and he gave to me the moneys. he took the cd from my hand and thanked me, then he left.

it was weird. it's the first time we talk without arguing, maybe it was the third time, I don't remember but it was weird anyaway.

and maybe, and just maybe he was a good guy.

I'm here with the new chapter and I'm proud because it has more then 1.3k words and this is the longest chapter I wrote.
anyway I want to apology, not only because I updated after 52737 years but also because I didn't read it and I'm sure there's some repetitions and errors and I'm really sorry for this.
