I wake up smiling. Today is the day I go on holiday with jai and alana.
I pull on some clothes and grab my suitcase (I packed well in advance!).
After what seems like forever I see Alana's car pull up. I say good bye to my family and rush outside. Jai sweetly sits in the back with me.
The first part of the journey goes extremely fast because jai and I talk and laugh - his smile is adorable (I think I'm going to name it "the jai smile").
We eventually stop at a service station and get some lunch. We all finish our soup and continue our journey. This time we decide to sleep.
Next thing I know, I wake up and realise that jai is cuddling into me, asleep. JAI IS LEANING ON ME! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!
Alana looks in the mirror of the car and says to me, "are you sure you are just friends?"
I smile, still freaking out on the inside. I don't know whether he fell on me while he was asleep or maybe just maybe he meant to do it. Hopefully.
"not far now Izzy, maybe wake up jai" Alana says.
Quickly when Alana's concentrating on driving, I stroke jai's cheek, feeling so incredibly in love with him.
Then I gently shake him. "jai, wake up" I whisper. He wakes up, still leaning on me and asks, "are we there?"
"almost," I smile. He sits up and doesn't seem confused that he was lying on me so maybe he did mean to do it. Oh I hope so. I love him.
