As I head out of the studio alone (my mum takes teah home earlier, and I stay late) my mind keeps flashing back to the new boy: his smile, his eyes, everything about him.
I decide to try and get to know him better.
*next day*
"Mia, Grace, I saw the new boy you were talking about and you're right, I think I might have developed a crush," I admit.
"Told you so," replied Mia. "I've kind of gone off him so I could set you up if you want."
"woah calm down, I don't even know anything about him yet," I said.
"you two would be so cute together," gushed Grace. I smiled to myself hopefully.
It's lunch time and I can't find Grace or Mia so I'm just kind of walking around aimlessly until I hear a someone playing a guitar in one of the music rooms. I look in the window and see it's jai. I quickly move away from the window and pretend to be really interested in looking at the notice board.
"Hi Izzy." I spin around to see jai. Woah I didnt even hear him come out of the music room. "oh hey jai." he looks to see what I was "reading". "So you're interested in joining bongo club?" he asks, raising his eyebrow.
"oh, no I was just looking." AWKWARD. "I heard you playing the guitar, you're really good"
"thanks, do you play an instrument?" he inquires
"Nope, I don't think I'd be very good at all!" I laugh.
"I can teach you guitar if you want" he smiles.
Wow he is so cute. And he offered to teach me. THAT MEANS MORE TIME TO SPEND TOGETHER, yesssss!
"that would be cool, if you don't mind"
"Sure, it'll be fun. How about after school today? At my house?" he asks.
Yessss it's Tuesday - no dance! And he invited me to his house!
"that sounds great, I'll meet you outside school at the end of the day"
"Ok see ya Izzy"
"Bye"
