Chapter 1 : Dark Forest

Definition of Dark ;

Having a little or no light

"Rossy! Food for table 3,6,7 is ready." I glanced at the kitchen. Jason is putting all the food on the side table near the counter.
"Coming right up!" I took all the food and served it to the customers.
"Here is your order, sir." I smiled to the customer sweetly. They smiled and thanked me .

It's just an ordinary day. I'm working in Seattle's Cafe as a waitress. There were only left six customer . I glanced at the clock that was on the wall.

11.41 p.m..

Times flew so fast and I didn't realized it's almost midnight. My shift was over. I walk to the staff room . I change my outfits from the uniform to a white sleeve shirt and black ripped skinny jeans. I tied my dark brown hair to a messy bun. Staring in a mirror-Topaz brown eyes that almost turned red with thick eyelashes. Remembering who I get this beautiful eyes from.

Flashback

I was singing Dora The Explorer's theme song in the car loudly . Dad and mom was smiling , because I'm so happy . It's my 8th Birthday. We were on our way to our Uncle's John's house .

He is the most cheerful man I've ever known. Plus, he is so kind to me. We were driving from Kingston to Toronto , Canada for three hours and it's night. The lamp post beside the roads suddenly shut. I was so suprised so was mom and dad.

A flash came through in front window -before I could blink,

our car crashed.

I opened my eyes and my vision is a bit blur . All the memories flooding back to me.

The accident . I heard the faint voices that were seeming to became audible and babbling by the second . Realized I was in a hospital room. I saw Uncle John walked out from the room and come back within a seconds with a man wearing a white coat -which I assume a doctor.

"Rosalie , how you're feeling?" The doctor asked me. I don't care how I'm feeling . I just want to know how is my dad and mom. So, I got straight to the point.
"What happened?" I asked.

I could see the sorrow started to fill in their eyes.

And on that time,

I know that I lost he man and a woman who I love the most.

Present Time

My parents died in that car accident almost seventeen years ago. I did survive and live with Uncle John. He helped and took care of me very well. He moved to Seattle after he met an owner of a famous cafe in town where's I'm working now. Her name is Annale Gibson. I call her Aunty Anna. She's very kind . I go through good and bad times with them. My life here fine but it's miserables sometimes.

I had a lot of friends here since I get into Frerrad Secondary School. I made a lot of new friends there. But , the only true friends that always got my back and I can count on them is Amy Jackson , Lara Craft and Jason McCann.

Jason McCann, - I put a label on our relationship as a normal friendship. Well actually he was my boyfriend. We broke up over a stupid things. It's happened so many times and it made me hurt. So, I left him . After a few years , we started to being friends again - only because he apologized to me for hurting my feelings and ask to start it all over again. I refuse and told him to be just a friends. That's we are now. It's not end yet, his personality changing a little by little -the way he's acting now is bad. Like a bad boy. I hate it.
