How can someone utter just a single word to stir up my heart?
Xie Lian couldn't help thinking when he would ever get used to this soft call of his lover that almost felt like kisses of butterflies.
How absurd! It has been more than a hundred years now yet the tremble in his heart in the presence of this person remained just the same.
"Gege?" Hua Cheng called again, letting his tongue roll slightly deeper and raising his eyebrow. What a flirt!
"San Lang, you are back!"
"I am! I have missed gege day and night and so rushed here to hold you."
Xie Lian's eyes curved and he helplessly said, "It hasn't even been a month."
"A night without Gege by my side is equivalent to the distance of stars, a day without your presence is full of vain." San Lang pulled the person in his arms and inhaled deeply.
Finally the feeling of suffocation has dispersed.
He wasn't lying when he said the words to Xie Lian. It is always too unbearable without the person who is supposed to be in his arms; it is empty and it is in vain indeed.
"San Lang, have you gotten thinner?"
Hua Cheng laughed loudly. Xie Lian loved this sort of laugh in Hua Cheng. The playful and hearty smile that he showed only to him. It was so beautiful Xie Lian felt like he was almost short of breath.
"How can that be Gege. I don't even need to eat."
"That doesn't mean you won't have to. Come inside and sit. I will cook for you."
"Oh? What is for today's dinner your highness?"
"What do you feel like eating? I will make it for you!"
Hua Cheng chuckled. Its been so many years, how could this person not know what he wanted to eat the most after a month of separation.
Xie Lian seemed to have also gotten the whim of it and slowly even his toe turned red.
"Um.... I..ah.."
"Gege."
"Hm?"
"After a month of separation I feel weak and haggard. If its not much of a hassle can you let this devotee of yours relish some of your precious essence? It will help me to get back in perfect shape once again!"
"You..."
Even before Xie Lian could answer, Hua Cheng kneeled and kissed his hand with utter devotion and slowly kissed his palm and moved upwards.
Xie Lian only remember feeling a spin before he found himself getting pressed down by the person he thought of day and night, even when he was with this person, even when he was away from this person.
"Ugh...aren't you...a bit too....energetic."
Xie Lian let out a breath loudly, almost groaning.
"Gege is making me shy. When have I not...tsk"
Xie Lian immediately noticed the change of reaction in Hua Cheng's face. It almost looked like he was trying to hold himself back to a great deal and it seemed painful to do so.
Xie Lian immediately got up and put his hand gently on the other's face. The eye that was missing from the place bulged and seemed painful. He immediately understood!
"San Lang! Is it a birth of a supreme ghost?!"
Hua Cheng made a ugly expression before nodding.
"And I have a feeling, it is of an old acquaintances."
