Chapter 29

Korie's p.o.v

I wake up with a start. I look around and for some reason I'm at Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, and Tohru's place. I look at the time 5:45 a.m. Why am I here? Then I get an extremely bad headache and remember yesterday, all up until I passed out. I'm on their couch, I feel like I'm intruding, so I get up and I'm a little light-headed at first. I need to get home. I walk out quietly not before cleaning up my mess first. I walk home, I'm staggering but I finally make it home and go to the medicine cabinet and take my iron medicine since I have iron deficiency and two aspirin and lay down. I have a concussion, I can tell Hatori was searching my head for anything wrong with me. He didn't give me anything for it though. I guess he wanted to wait til I woke to give me anything. I'm looking up at the ceiling then my alarm clock goes off I turn it off and get up to shower and get dressed. I'm feeling a little better now so I can go to school. I hope I haven't offended them, they have been so good to me. Once I'm finished I leave for school, I'm 40 minutes early so when I get to my class I lay my head down on my desk.

Tohru's p.o.v

'Eeeek!!!' I get up to make breakfast as usual and I was checking on Korie and she wasn't there. Yuki and Kyo rush into the room. Kyo says, 'What?!' Yuki hits him upside the head, 'Shut up you stupid cat.' 'You wanna go rat boy?!' I sweat-drop and say, 'Sorry guys I just kinda freaked when I checked on Korie and she wasn't there.' Both of their eyes go wide. 'Miss. Honda, do you mind if I leave for school early? I would like to check if Korie is ok.' Kyo says, 'Ya damn rat, why would she be at school?!' Yuki says in his usual quiet tone, 'Must you yell?' I look at them both and sigh. 'Of course Yuki. I don't mind I'll just pack extra in your lunch.' 'Thank you, Miss. Honda' I don't know how many times I have told him to call me Tohru. When the time comes to go to school Kyo walks with me. Shigure woke up when Yuki left saying that we were being too loud. I, of course apologize, at school we see Yuki patting a sleeping Korie's back.
