Sorry guys! I get lost and forget the days and my excuses suck but I try. Once again, my cousin has been asking for Chapter 11. I couldn't write anymore (I wrote myself into a pit) so this is terribly short.

I hope you guys enjoy it either way.

"You've been spending quite a lot of time at Garret's place lately." Casey said one day as we were eating lunch.

"Well we are together, so there's that." I answered.

"There's no need to be rude, old man." I peered up from my plate to look over at her.

"You're going to start showing soon."

"What's that got to do with anything?" Casey's tone turned into that of someone who felt insulted.

"I can't bring him over because he'll ask questions about the baby and I'd rather not lie to him when he asks about the father." I shrugged and put a carrot in my mouth.

"Withholding the truth is also lying." She said.

"It depends on who you're talking to." I retorted.

"Fair enough." She pushed her plate back. "He really seems to like you though."

"I feel at home when I'm with him." I smiled. "He makes me happy."

"You're so cute I want to smash a wall in. Oh my God, he makes you sappy and mushy!" Casey exclaimed.

"He does not!" My eyes widened.

"Have you guys confessed your deepest most heartfelt feelings for each other yet?" I remained silent. "You have! This just made my day."

She started laughing and I sunk lower in my seat. People around us were starting to turn their heads and I was tempted to call for the bill.

Garret called me as soon as I reached my house to find out about my plans for the night. I told him I was helping Casey with a few thing then we were going to catch up on the latest season of Game of Thrones since she hated watching it as it aired. 'I don't like waiting' were her words.

"When am I going to meet her?" Garret asked. "She's your best friend and we're already together so I figured we would've met already."

"Yea, well, the opportunity hasn't arisen." I shrugged.

Garret voice turned stoic. "You don't want me to meet her."

I blanched at this. "What? That is not true!"

"You're getting awfully defensive for someone who's telling the truth."

"I am not getting defensive." I knew he was right. How could I explain myself? I was at a loss.

"Jeremy, just tell me that you don't want me to meet her and I'll let it go."

"I do! Just- just not right now okay?" I took a deep breath.

"Hmm." I could tell that the wheels inside his head were churning overtime and couldn't make out why I was so adamant about him and Casey not meeting.

"Garret-"

"I don't get it, Jeremy. It's like you're living a double life. What are you hiding from me?" I couldn't lie to him like this. He'd be able to tell it by the sound of my voice.

I cast my eyes downward. I took a deep breath. "I'm not hiding anything from you."

"Tell it to me straight." I bit my lip and looked away towards a wall. It was amazing how interesting walls could look when you were trying to avoid a situation.

"When you feel like being honest, call me, otherwise don't bother." He hung up and the silence that followed was almost deafening.

"It has come to my attention that the unity between some of the faculty is not as it should be." The Head -Mr. Summers started. Everyone was called in earlier that usual for a meeting that was supposedly urgent and no one knew what it was about. "How can we expect the students to act amicably when the staff refuse to do so?" I bit the inside of my mouth and glanced in Richard's direction. He was intently focused on Mr. Summers. I sighed and turned my attention back as well. It wouldn't do me well to miss out on this. "...and that is why I've arranged a get together for students and faculty alike."

"A get together?" One of the other professors asked.

"Yes, that's what I said, a get together."

"And the point of that would be?" One of the younger professors spoke up. I heard a few scoffs here and there. "It's up to those having the feud to sort it out. And the student are mature enough not to follow what their sexually frustrated professors are doing."

My eyes widened. Richard last up straighter in his seat. Mr. Summer eyes look as thought were going to pop out of their sockets.

"That was out of line and uncalled for!" Mr. Summers screeched.

"It's true though. If they," He chanced a glance at Richard and myself. "-can't work out their issues off campus, they should let it go and not bring it where it is not wanted."

"Those involved will be spoken to. It is highly inappropriate to address the situation in this manner. Refrain from doing it again." Mr. Summers took a deep breath. "I will email further details about the get together and see about a mass email being sent out to the students once everything's been finalised. Thank you."

He turned about promptly left the room. We sat in silence for a minute before everyone started moving.

I heard some commotion at the opposite end of the room and looked up to see Richard staring down the same professor who spoke up earlier.

"You had no right." Richard growled.

"Then you shouldn't flaunt your business in public like that." I sighed at how cocky the guy was acting. He had obviously never seen Richard angry before.

"No one was flaunting. You should learnt to keep your nose out of other peoples' lives." Richard puffed out his chest to seem more intimidating.

"Make me." The guy taunted.

I decided to step in before things got worse. "Richard, your first class is about to start."

He gave me a blank look and I raised an eyebrow at him. He sighed and walked over to me. "I don't have a class right now."

"Yea, I know that, but does he?" I motioned to the guy. "You looked like you were going to blow a gasket. I thought I'd save you from getting suspended or fired."

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Why?"

I shrugged. "I don't know."

"Jeremy, I've been a dick to you these past few days and I'm sorry." I nodded. I didn't need an explanation and I made sure he knew that.

"It's okay." I walked towards the door. "Stay out of trouble okay? I'm not sure I can always be around to save you."

A/N: So? Comment your thoughts and/or feelings. I know this chapter was basically nothing but let's look at it as a filler chapter for previous scenes to come.

I have an idea so I'm going to write it down and hope that it throws me a bone. Heaven knows I need it.

Love you guys,

xx Carrie
