The sun shone brightly on the Kim mansion, casting a warm glow over the expansive estate. With Mr. and Mrs. Kim away on a visit to California, the mansion seemed quieter than usual. Jungkook, however, was busy in the kitchen, whipping up a delicious breakfast for Taehyung.

As he expertly flipped pancakes and scrambled eggs, Jungkook glanced at the clock, wondering why Taehyung was running late. The other maids were busy with their chores, cleaning and dusting the various rooms.

Just as Jungkook was about to call out to Taehyung, he decided to check on his husband instead. He made his way to their shared bedroom, expecting to find Taehyung getting ready for the office.

However, what Jungkook found was a completely different scene. Taehyung was sitting on the floor, surrounded by toys, laughing and playing with Roohie. The little one was giggling and cooing, clearly enjoying the attention from her father.

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise as he took in the scene. Taehyung was still in his pajamas, his hair mussed, and his eyes sparkling with joy. It was clear that he had forgotten all about getting ready for the office.

"You're still not dressed; don't you have to go to the office?" Jungkook asked, looking at Taehyung, who raised his head.

"No, I took the day off," Taehyung said, gazing down at Roohie, who was nestled comfortably on his lap.

"May I ask why you took the day off so suddenly?" Jungkook inquired, leaning against the doorframe and raising an eyebrow as he glanced at Taehyung.

"Because I want to spend time with my princess, and of course, with you," Taehyung said, taking Roohie in his arms and showering her cheeks with kisses.

"But why take the day off? You can't be careless with your work," Jungkook said, his voice stern. "Go and get ready. Your breakfast is ready, and I'm waiting."

Taehyung whined, hugging Roohie tightly as she sucked on her thumb. "Noo, I don't wanna go."

"Taehyung, this is your last warning," Jungkook said, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Taehyung. "I want to see you at the dining table in five minutes, or you won't be able to sleep in this room for two months."

With that, Jungkook turned and walked away, leaving Taehyung alone with Roohie.

"Your momma is cruel to dadda," Taehyung whispered to Roohie, who opened her mouth again, as if responding to her father's words.

"Let's get ready before your mother comes again and beats your father," Taehyung said with a chuckle, placing Roohie on the bed before heading to the bathroom to start his morning routine.

Once he was ready, Taehyung picked up Roohie and headed downstairs to the dining room, where Jungkook was waiting for him.

"Good thing you got ready," Jungkook said, sipping his tea. "I thought I'd have to come get you again, but this time with a slipper."

Taehyung pouted and sat down in his chair, handing Roohie over to Jungkook. He then served himself breakfast and began to eat, his pout deepening as he sulked at Jungkook.

After breakfast, Taehyung grabbed his wallet, put on his socks and shoes, and finished getting ready for the office, still sporting a sulky expression.

"Stop sulking now," Jungkook said, chuckling as he gazed at his husband's pouty face.

Taehyung peeked up, his eyes locking onto Jungkook's. Jungkook whispered in his ear, "If you're a good husband and work hard, I'll give you a special treat tonight."

As Jungkook pulled back, Taehyung's sulkiness vanished, replaced by a bright, expectant smile. With renewed enthusiasm, he headed off to the office, his heart racing with anticipation for the treat awaiting him that night.
