The day unfolded with its usual rhythm within the Kim mansion, where a cadre of maids diligently attended to their tasks. As one maid, her attention momentarily wavering, inadvertently brushed against a delicate glass vase, it toppled, shattering into a constellation of fragments upon the polished floor.

"Oh, heavens, what have I wrought?" she murmured, a wave of dismay washing over her as she lightly struck her forehead in self-reproach.

"I must swiftly remedy this," she fretted, her voice laced with urgency. "Mrs. Kim is due home shortly; should he encounter these shards, he might be injured."

With a renewed sense of purpose, she hastened to retrieve a broom, determined to restore order before Jungkook 's return.

Just as the maid scurried away to fetch a broom and dustpan, Jungkook entered the living room, carrying Roohie. The little girl was growing increasingly fussy, her small brow furrowed and her quiet whimpers filling the air.

Seeking a solution, Jungkook decided a breath of fresh air in the garden might soothe her. He reasoned that the open space and gentle breeze would offer a welcome distraction and calm her agitation.

Unbeknownst to Jungkook, the scattered shards of glass lay hidden, a treacherous obstacle in his path. As he walked, his foot landed squarely upon the remnants, the sharp edges piercing the delicate skin of his leg knuckle. A sudden, sharp cry of pain erupted from him, and he stumbled, falling to the floor, instinctively clutching Roohie close to his chest.

The maids, alerted by his anguished shout, rushed into the living room. They were met with the distressing sight of Jungkook’s leg, now stained crimson with blood, the telltale glint of glass embedded within.

Gently, Jungkook placed Roohie onto the nearby couch. The little girl, witnessing her momma's distress, began to cry, her small face contorted with worry.

Jungkook's grip tightened on his injured leg, his eyes fixated on the gruesome sight. Numerous shards of glass had embedded themselves, and a wave of unbearable pain washed over him, causing tears to stream down his face. He sobbed, his body trembling with the intensity of the agony.

The maids, their hearts heavy with concern, attempted to offer assistance, but Jungkook, through his tears, gestured sharply, halting their approach. At that very moment, Taehyung entered the mansion. His gaze immediately fell upon the distressing scene: Jungkook, huddled on the floor, his leg bleeding profusely, his body wracked with sobs.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung exclaimed, his voice laced with alarm, as he rushed towards him. He crouched down, his eyes scanning the gruesome scene of glass embedded in Jungkook's leg.

"Jungkook... my baby," Taehyung murmured, his voice thick with concern, as he carefully lifted Jungkook into his arms, then gently settled him on the couch, cradling his leg.

"For God's sake, bring the first aid kit!" Taehyung commanded, his voice sharp and urgent, addressing the maids. They swiftly dispersed, their footsteps echoing as they hurried to retrieve the necessary supplies. Meanwhile, Taehyung tenderly cradled Jungkook's injured leg in his lap, his expression etched with worry.

"Hubby, it hurts," Jungkook whimpered, his voice thick with tears, as he gazed up at Taehyung. Taehyung gently brushed away the tears that streamed down Jungkook's face, his touch tender as he caressed the injured leg.

"Shh, my baby, don't cry. I'm here, hmm?" Taehyung reassured him, his voice soothing. Just then, a maid presented him with the first aid kit. With a steady hand, Taehyung began the delicate and painful task of removing the broken shards of glass from Jungkook's leg. Each piece extracted elicited a fresh wave of tears and whimpers from Jungkook, his body tensing with the sharp stabs of pain.
