Katie pov

James was really mad at me, I walked with him to the apartment but we used different places, he used the elevator and I used the stairs since he used the elevator and didn't wait for me to enter the elevator and closed the door and I used the stairs since he used the elevator but didn't bother to leave it open for me when I reached the apartment James was in the sitting room soaking wet (since he was thrown into the pool by my brother)

He removed his soaked shirt and dumped it on the kitchen floor and turned to face me.

"That what you wanted right, to make a big scene so that Kyle would notice you, I mean who didn't?" He laughed bitterly at the end of that statement.

I leaned on the door and turned to face him "James I didn't know Kendall was going to come out of his room, if I did I wouldn't have approached you"

He softened when he realised what I was saying and pursed which gave me the chance to check his body. It not that I haven't seen James shirtless before but I'm always yammered by Kendall or mum about one thing or another. Whoa...... washboard abs........ what girls dream about.

"I know, I should never have agreed to this"

I rolled my eyes " it not like it a big trouble, I mean people sit on other people's lap all the time"

"But it could have gotten out of hand, you are aware that when you bent forward I could see down your shirt?" He could?, I could feel my cheeks burn up "l...I didn't know"

"I know you didn't. Katie you're too young for me, besides you're like a sister to me"

I rolled my eyes "Jame I already know these and am not in love with you." That was a lie..... a really big, but I can't go around holding a I heart James banner every where I go, can I?

My phone vibrated and I pulled it out of my pant. "It is a text message from Kyle" I told James as I opened it "Katie wtf, James is like four years older than u & he is a player. What were you even thinking, was he hitting on u. Btw, the scene was great"

"Kyle thinks it weird that I was on your laps and thinks you were hitting on me and I think he is jealous" I gushed to Jame, he did the double thumbs up sign.

"Actually since he is already these freaked out, then imagine how he would be if he......... I don't know... see us together a couple of times"
