Day 03: Your Parents

Mummy,

I take you for granted so much that when I stop to think just how much you do for me, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. You’ve gone through a lot just to make sure I’ve had the best opportunities and I know it hasn’t - and still isn’t - easy for you. So thank you for everything you’ve done.

I don’t really have much that I want to say to you, except that you’re a beautiful soul and I’m sorry that I disappoint you sometimes.

Daddy,

I’m not going to talk about all the obvious things - how you’re fun and awesome and the best daddy ever. You know all that already. I just want to tell you two things that I never say to you.

I love you so much, and I’m terrified of what life would be like without you. So please don’t leave me anytime soon.
