The topic i'll talk about today, majority of you, either won't listen, or will listen from one ear and take it out of another. But in all honesty i'm here to make a statement, so even if what i say touches one persons heart, my motive here is fulfilled.

The 21st century, the century of technology, right? Everything is now advanced and modern, medicine, technology, everything. So why is it the main thing isn't advanced. Why are our minds not advanced yet? Why isn't society advanced yet?

Why is it we still judge people within the blink of an eye? When we judge, do we ever think what their reason could be? Why did they act a certain way? We judge based on what the eye sees and ears hear. How much of that is true?

But in all honesty, people don't want to know the truth. No, they don't. Why not? Because it's a lot easier to judge on what you hear, than to find out the truth. Its a lot easier to be pushed away by someone then to go help them. Because all that matters is yourself, the rest can go to hell for all you care. As long as your life is fine, it's easy to judge. But what if you end up in that place? Then what? You regret it? Too late, don't you think?

For example, if you see a pregnant 16 year walking down the road. Judgements are made instantaneously, it could be;

A) it's normal, hormone crazed teens

B) what a slut, getting pregnant so soon

C) so stupid, never heard of contraceptives.

Does anyone ever think of an option d? That maybe she was abused? maybe she had no choice? The chances are slim, but that chance still is there. Anyone think about that? No, why? Because its alot easier to blame the girl, than to know the truth. Won't you agree?

Why is our society so double standard? Why is it a lie? Why do we live a lie almost all our lives. We've been given the meaning of 'perfect' and somehow everyone has to meet it. Theres always talks about how everyone is unique and an individual, so why are their scrutinised for what they do? Why are they frowned upon if its not the norm?

Why is it, whenever someone has a problem that you want nothing to do with, you label them as attention seekers? Did you feel even an ounce of what they've been through? Then what gives you the right to judge? Its so easy to label a person with an eating disorder, a person who self harms, so easy to say their attention seeking. Have you ever picked up that blade and brought it to you skin. Have you ever felt so helpless, felt so much agony that even in pain you find relief? Have you ever locked yourself in the bathroom and cried, because a few idiots have been calling you fat? Have you? No. Then in what position are u to call them attention seekers?

Very few people know better than to be judgemental, people who've been through it. A person whose pushed others away, won't let others push them away. Because they know that's the time they need someone the most. A teen mum, won't judge another, because she shares a similar story. So what has our society come to? People will judge unless they've been through it themselves. Society is two faced and so are each and everyone one of us living in it.

You might ignore everything i just said, but please next time before you judge, put yourself in their shoes. The situation may look completely different. It's time for a change, lets make it sooner...
