A heavy sadness,
Weighs down my heart,
Tiredness takes over,
My sanity falls apart.
An unasked question,
Suppressed on my tongue,
Happiness, innocence,
Washed away and gone.
Tears falling down,
Yet not shed at all,
I stand upright,
Yet i still fall.
I can see the light,
But can't make it there,
So i close my eyes,
And just lie here.
A fellow friend comes,
And extends their hand,
I reach out and hold,
Once again, i can stand.
