The Girl Who Knew Too Much

My bedroom door opens and Allison walks in.
"It happened again" she said.

"What happened again?" I asked.

"Lydia...not knowing where she's going. She found another body. This time it was an officer, we found her on top of the Beacon Hills High School sign just laying there....with blood dripping down. Anyone could have seen her. If Lydia didn't show up and call me then Stiles, then it would have been there in the morning. Any student could have seen it."

"Oh my god. Did Stiles know her?"

"Yeah, she used to help him with his homework when he was waiting for his dad."

"Wow."

"Yeah, I'm going to be in bed but I'm leaving as soon as dad leaves. Cover for me?"

"I was actually going to go to the recital. So I can't really cover."

"I was going to go too but I don't want dad to know. You can just ride with me, so you need to cover for me anyways. The moment dad leaves the apartment, get the daggers or not...I mean you have your powers to protect you."

"Fine." Allison smiled at me and closed my bedroom door and went into her own room. Few minutes later my dad entered the apartment.

"Hey Macy, are you going to the recital to remember the loses?" Dad asked.

"No, it's going to be weird since I never really knew any of them." I reply.

"Ok, go to sleep at a decent time then." My dad said.

"Ok dad. I'm assuming I won't see you tonight then."

He came over and kissed the top of my head and exited my room and entered Allison's. I'm assuming it went similarly to how our convo went because he exited her room, then the apartment. I grab one dagger and place it in my boot. I heard a thump come from Allison's room.

"Macy, come and get your boyfriend." Allison yelled. I walk into her room and Isaac is standing there looking uncomfortable.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Scott sent him to look after me, but I can handle myself just fine." Allison said.

"Well, that and plus I wanted to check on you as well. I would have snuck through your window but it's kinda facing the pool on the inside of the apartment square. I can't get in to that without a key...so Allison's window was the only answer." Isaac remarked.

"Follow me. I found something." Allison ordered at both of us. We follow her into my dad's office/study. She takes off the things on the desk. She places maps and such on top of the desk.

"Our dad knows too much about the Darach killings. He's involved somehow." Allison says.

"Well, you know he could just be doing what he does best...tracking it." I retort.

"No, I don't think so. He has every location of where they are killed marked on this but I don't know how he knows all this without being involved." She grabs a black light and point it over the maps. "Look, see?" She points to the map. There are markings on it that appear under the black light only. Oh my god. My dad knows something.

Isaac leans back and looks at the desk.

"I remember my dad saying that sometimes you had to take a step back in order to de the whole picture." Isaac says. I step back with him as well. I see a design on the desk top.

"Move the stuff to the side, away from the center of the desk." I tell Allison.

She moves the stuff away. I've seen this image before...it's called a fivefold knot. The black light hits a part of one of the knots, there's ink on it. "
