Later during the week Jazzy & Ray goes to the doctor

Nurse: Jazmyne Jones the doctor will see u now

Jazzy: Come on baby daddy (grabbing his hand)

Ray: (getting up) Last time I checked I put a ring on that so u better calm that baby daddy mess down

Jazzy: Oh be quiet

They go in the doctor’s office & waits for him to come in

Doctor: Hello Ms. Jones

Jazzy: Hi doctor Barns

Doctor: Who do we have here (looking at Ray)

Jazzy: Oh this is my fiancé Ray he came with me

Doctor: Ok so what brings u guys into day cause from your record your are healthy & everything was fine your last visit not too long ago

Ray: We want u to confirm that she is pregnant with our first child

Doctor: Is that so (smiling at them)

Jazzy: Yes cause I took a home pregnancy test & it came back positive plus he (pointing to Ray) says I have all the pregnancy symptoms his mom had when she was pregnant with his sibling

Doctor: Well lets take a test & see what’s going on in that belly of your

The doctor gives her a urine test

Jazzy: Ray so if I am pregnant what’s gone happen

Ray: What u mean, we gone have a kid & get married & live happily ever after

Jazzy: (smacking her lips) Nigga this ain’t no fairytale (swinging her feet)

Ray: It can be

Doctor: (coming back with the results) So from the test (looking at the chart) it looks like u are indeed pregnant congrats (smiling at them)

Ray: Yea boy we bout to be parents babe (pecking her lips)

Jazzy: (pushing him away) Ray stop we are still in the doctor’s office

Doctor: Oh its fine he just excited but I can do a quick ultrasound to see how far along u are if u would like that

Ray: (speaking before Jazzy) Sure

Jazzy: (looking at Ray) I guess he gave u an answer

Doctor: Alright lay down & lets get this started

The doctor get all the stuff ready & puts the cold gel on Jazzy’s stomach

Jazzy: (jumping) That’s cold

Doctor: Sorry I didn’t warn u but I know it looks like nothing on the screen but (pointing to a little blob) that’s your baby right there

Ray: (looking closer) Man it just a little blob its all deformed

Jazzy: Ray shut up

Doctor: (laughing) The baby is a little blob right now cause the features don’t start growing for probably another few weeks but by the end of the first trimester the baby will be formed

Ray: So why can’t we hear a heartbeat or anything if the baby is there

Doctor: U usually don’t hear a heartbeat about 8-10 weeks cause it doesn’t start until about 6 weeks

Jazzy: So how many weeks am I

Doctor: Well from the way the ultrasound is looking I would say about 4 – 5 weeks making your due date around January 6
