The day of thanksgiving Ray & Jazzy are house hoping (ya’ll know u gotta go eat at everybody house, I don’t cause everybody can’t cook for real) Jazmyne’s grandma is in town too

Mama Jones: (saying grace) In Jesus name Amen

All: Amen

Jessica: Ma I only want greens, macaroni & turkey

Mama Jones: (making Jessica’s plate) No u gone eat some of everything 

Grandma Jones: Janice leave that girl alone she can eat what’s I hate when u do that why give her food she not gone eat to waste it u know move (pushing her out the way, taking the plate) I’ll make the kids plates (talking to Jazmyne) Jazzy get over here & make your friend a plate he looks like he needs to eat cause he so damn skinny (moving out the way)

Jazzy: Yea ma’am (going to the food table)

Ray: (whispering to Jazzy) Dang I thought yo mom was scary but I see its really yo grandma

Jazzy: I know she don’t play (making Ray a plate) Ray what do u want on this plate & no we don’t have tacos

Ray: Awe man but I want everything but chitterlings cause that’s just nasty

Jazzy: I’m not too fond of them either but my grandma made these so I’m sure they are good some I’m going to give u a little to taste (putting some on his plate, handing it to him)

Ray: (taking the plate from her) Now don’t be mad if that’s the only thing left on my plate after I’m done

Jazzy: (making her own plate) Shut up & just eat cause u know we gotta a few houses to stop at after we leave here

They seat & eat with her family

Jessica: Ray why didn’t u bring Kayanna with u (stuffing her mouth)

Ray: I haven’t been to my mom’s house yet we came her first

Jessica: Can I come with ya’ll

Mama Jones: No Jess u going to your dads house tonight (her & Jazzy has different dad)

Jessica: Oh yea

Grandma Jones: So what was your name again young man (pointing to Ray)

Jazzy: His name is Ray grandma (eating her food)

Grandma: He don’t need u speaking for him I’m sure his mouth works (talking to Ray) so Ray are u treating my granddaughter like the respectable your lady she is

Ray: (looking at Jazzy, then to her grandma) I’m try my hardest to keep a smile on her face & I think I’m going pretty good so far

Grandma Jones: So when are ya’ll gone have me some great grandbabies cause I’m sure they gone have nice long pretty hair like

Mama Jones: Ma no don’t encourage them to have sex without being married  

Jessica: (being nosey) Yup they do cause I heard them in the room making noises last time I spent the night if that’s what sex sounds like

Jazzy: (embarrassed) Jessica shut up

Mama Jones: Jessica stop being nosey & go upstairs & pack your bag cause your dad is on his way & ma can u stop please
