Meta-gaming is simply the use of out-of-character knowledge in-character. It is also when you are posting your character, after agreeing upon a duel and a random room is made, somehow already having placed explosives exactly where your opponent is standing after he posts. This could be considered an Auto as well, however this can also be dubbed Meta-Gaming.
Alternate names exist for this: "Omniscience", "Using OOC Knowledge", etc.
