Pinky Promise

I walk out of the math building out to the place where I sit. The good thing about sitting where I sit is that we are literally in between the history building and the English and mathematics building. So we didn't have to walk far

I walked over towards these massive stair blocks just before the garden.

Soon I saw a big huddle of long hair, skirts, and make up crowding around some crying girl.

Me being the curious hero I am. I decided to investigate the wailing lady.

"Hey, why is she crying?" I asked a blonde who was rubbing the back of the crying person

"She just started crying in maths, no one really knows why" she answered continuing to run her fingers up and down her back

"Okay? Great help" I muttered looking over the heads of the girls and seeing Izzy.

I questioned how curious I was and figured out I was very curious

"Hey Izzy...." I painfully laughed out

"Oh wow, hey Nate. How are you?" She said excitedly

"I'm swell" I said pulling my lips into a thin line

"Nate?" I heard a struggled sob come from the person crying as she looked up

"April?" I said embracing her small body into my own

"Nate." She sobbed into my chest as I played with her hair knowing that calms her down

"Could you guys all leave? I got this thanks" I said to the girls crowding around April and I

I let April cry into my chest for a while until she calmed down enough to tell me what's wrong

"Are you okay?" I said holding her chin making her look up at me

"No." She said to me with her glazed over bright blue eyes

"Why?" I asked her holding her hand

"Because I'm worried we'll forget each other when schools over. I mean school is ending so quickly and I don't know what to do. We've been friends since forever and I don't want to loose you" She said crying a little more

"Would you ever forget me?" I asked her holding her hand

"Well would you?" I ask again

"No never"

"Pinky promise?" I said holding out my pinky

"Pinky promise" She confirmed latching her pinky onto mine

"I love you Nate" she said snuggling into my chest

"I love you too"
