Chapter 12

Juliet             Warning: sad chapter

I woke up with strong arms wrapped around me. I turned around and faced sin. His lips were parted a little and his black hair covered his eyes. I pushed it back and his arm squeezed around me tighter. " we have to get on the road." I whispered in his ear. He groaned. " but I don't feel like it." He mumbled in the crook of my neck. I giggled. I sat up wrapping the sheet around my bare body. I'm going to go shower. He nodded placed his hands over his eyes. " go ahead. I won't look." Aww. Such a gentlemen. I laughed and dropped the sheet. I went into the bathroom the coldness caressing my body. I shivered and turned on the shower. I tested it and hopped on in. I washed my hair and got lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear anyone coming in. " hey babe." I heard sin say from behind the curtain. I jumped out of my skin. " gosh sin you scared the shit out of me." He chuckled. " so mind if I join you?" I thought about it. Then answered, " sure. We can kill two birds with on stone. That way we can get on the road faster." " or you just really want to see me naked." I laughed. I felt arms around me and his head laid on my shoulder. " last night I already did." " true. True." " shut up." I hissed. " fine." Sin and I were behind a red pickup truck listening to the gangs conversation. The talking stopped and we heard footsteps coming. I told sin to back up. He backed up against a wall. I started to sneak up behind one. I put I'm in a headlock strangling him. His body went limp and I placed him on the ground quietly and did the same to the other. I looked a sin with a smirk. " come on." I whispered. He nodded and followed behind me. We approached a small warehouse. It was abandoned and was once named the langrabb warehouse. I walked inside my boots clicking on the ground. We heard footsteps coming so we quickly hid behind a wall. I looked around the wall and I noticed a tall girl with straight blond hair was running. I stopped her. " help me there coming please help." I nodded and pulled her with me. Once we knew the coast was clear we had to find a place to hide her. So we took her out warehouse and gave her the keys to sins RV. She drove off with tears in her eyes. When we went back we heard screaming. We quickly followed the screaming. We came face to face with a metal door. I was about to open it but sin stopped me. " Juliet. Wait." He looked at me with worry filled eyes. " don't stop me. I have to save hope." Before he could say anything I pushed open the door. The same gang leader I saw was in front of hope. She saw me and I put a finger on my lips. She nodded and looked back at the leader. " shut up you little bitch. No one cares if you die or not." She kept crying. He laughed and leaned down grabbing her chin in his hands. " but I care to much for you to kill you." He suddenly said with a soft caring voice. Hope ripped her face out of his hand. He only laughed in return. " it's ok. I'll force you whether you like it or not." That made my blood boil because that's what my dad said to me when I was 15. I charged at him screaming. I had a knife and stabbed it in his back. He stiffened and I pulled the knife out. He fell down gasping for air. I looked down at him placing my foot on his stomach but not to hard. " it's over." I said to him. He smiled. I cocked my head. " no. It's over for you." " what?" I asked confused. " Juliet look out!" I heard sin yell. I turned around and saw a bullet heading for me. I was too stunned to move. I felt the impact hit my stomach. Pain filled my stomach making me fall down dropping the knife. I clutched my stomach tears spilling out of my eyes. Sin rushed up to me. I heard nothing but my heartbeat. Then sin kissed my lips and my hearing came back.---------------------------
Sin
Juliet was laying in my arms with a bullet in her stomach. I kissed her lips and she looked in my eyes. " sin-I" I placed a finger on her lips. " no don't talk. Shh." She cried more. " sin it hurts." She cried. I held her closer. " I know baby. But you have to be strong hold on. For me ok. For your family. Don't leave we need you. I need you." She shook her head tears falling out the corner of her eyes. " I'm scared." She whispered. That made start crying even more. " don't be baby. Just know if you have to go just go. Be happy. But try to hold on." She nodded. " I love you sin." " I love you too." She closed her eyes but I could still feel her breathing slowly. " hey remember that time at the beach? We had the most fun the first kiss we had. Remember?" No answer. I looked down at her. Her body was lifeless and her green eyes no longer held life anymore. I closed my eyes more tears spilling. I closed her eyes and went to hope. I undid her chains and we started to walk out. Before we could leave anger filled me. I ran out and grabbed a gas can. I started pouring it all over the building then I got a liter and lit the warehouse I had already pulled Juliets body out and hope and I watched the
warehouse burn down. This was the end. I may have saved Juliet once but I can't now. ------
I was at home now sitting on my bed. I looked at a picture on my desk. It was picture of Juliet laughing. That was it hit me hard. I broke down. I slid down the wall gripping my hair. Tears spilled down my face. I knew that I would never hear her laugh again. I would never see her again. This is when I really knew. This is the end.
