Cole led me into his car and we drove to where Jeff wanted us to go. " so are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked. " I mean it's not like it's IMPORTANT." He chuckled then he got a call. " it's Jeff." He picked up the phone and answered it. His face went pale and he started gripping the steering wheel. " what do you mean they got her!" He yelled into the phone. I jumped at his sudden outburst. " no! Right now! " I heard talking on the other side. Cole started to calm down then he gripped the steering wheel again. The car swerved almost hitting another car and I screamed. Cole turned off the phone and glanced at me. " are you ok?" He questioned. I shook my head. I dug myself deeper into the seat. He kept driving then said, " they got her." I looked at him. " hope. The other gang has hope." A single tear went down his face. " I lied to everyone. Only our family knew this but I think that I can tell you. You know how I said that hope is in college? She's not. Hope is in high school and was in a protection program. Every summer I would go and visit her. At age 15 she was kidnapped. That was before you guys moved here. She was gone for 1 whole month. Our family was devastated. The police stopped the case because they believed that she was already dead. I still had hope for her to come back. At first her name was christie. One night I was outside on my porch crying about her. And she came up to me out of now where. I didn't believe it was her. I thought I was going crazy. But you know the crazy thing? I had 2 sisters only 2 years apart. The other one never came back. Hope had cut and bruises all over her. She even forgot the basics like what was her name and how old she was. So we changed it to Hope. She is in her first to last year in high school." He had tears going down his face. " and- when I-I heard the other gang has her that she has been kidnapped again. I can't handle it. I need you to help me." He grabbed my hand. " I want to get hope and find my other sister. Please help me." I nodded and I didn't realize that I was crying too and that we were parked outside of our destination. I squeezed his hand. " I will help you. But I can't guarantee that we will find -" " her name is Elizabeth but we call her Eli. ( pronounced el-e)." I nodded once again lost for words. He cleared his throat and wiped off his face and I did the same. We stepped out the car and into the warehouse. It smelled like dried vomit. I gagged on the smell. Then I looked on the ground. A man in a uniform and brown shaggy hair laid on the ground clutching on to his stomach. When we passed he whispered , " help me." I tried to but cole pulled me back and to the gang. Jeff stood in the middle of the other 5 people around him. There was Lena. Lena and I are the only girl so we are always in competition. There's Caleb. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He and I used to have a little crush on each other. Next there is Luis. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He usually never talks. To the left is Reece. His skin is dark and has huge muscles. Last but not least there is this one guy no one talks to. He never told his story to the rest of the gang. He has black hair that almost covers his eyes a lip ring and a sleeve tattoo. Sometimes when I'm around him I feel scared. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed fiddling with his lip ring. I scooted closer to Cole as we passed him. " well hello Cole and Juliet nice of you to join us. " he acknowledged us. " now." He yelled out for everyone to hear. He picked up a remote and turned on the projecter. It showed a picture of a girl smiling with long curly brown hair. Her eyes were like a hazel brown and she was beautiful in every way. Cole sucked in a breath at the picture. " everyone this is Cole' s sister. Hope. We must save her. Now Cole you never told me you had another sister. Elizabeth is it?" He asked. Cole nodded and gulped in a breath. Jeff clicked for the next picture and a younger looking girl popped up just as beautiful. Cole looked away from the picture. " alright now I got a call from the the enemy gang and they said to be at st Claire's race track to race. If we win the race once we get hope back. But if we win twice we get Elizabeth back. Or the other way around. Your call Cole." Jeff explained. " we would have to get Elizabeth first. I never thought I would see her again ." He decided. Jeff nodded. " now I will put you in partners. Cole you will be with Lena, Caleb with Reece, Luis you'll be with me and sin your with Juliet. Sin please take it easy. I know your used to being with Luis but she's new. No driving reckless." Sin sighed and nodded. So that was his name sin. I followed him out to the cars. We went all the way in the back and there sat a black sleek Lamborghini. We hopped in and sin drive slow. " ugh. Come on your driving like my grandma. " I complained. " Jeff told me to drive slow and well here we are driving slow. For you." I shook my head and answered yelling, " come on! Drive reckless! Live a little!" He muttered " if you say so." He put the car in second gear and sped up. The lights went by in a blur and my hair flowed in the wind. " whoooo!" I shouted. He chuckled and kept going. Finally it started to slow down and the joy ride came to an end. We hopped out and people in the crowds were cheering for us. Sin leaned down and whispered in my ear. " whatever I do. Play along." I nodded and he put a arm around my waist. " lay on my shoulder as we walk." He whispered. I obeyed. " why are we doing this?" I asked through smiling teeth. " the group leader of our enemy gang always race the ones with girlfriends. Jeff told me to do this. I will look weak and they will pick me to race against. So just play along. I'm the best racer of the gang." We kept walking and approached our gang. We were standing face to face with the enemy gang. I decided it would be fun to act like a love sick girl. So why the hell not? I reached up on my tiptoes and placed a kiss on his cheek. He smiled and the gang leader spotted us. Bingo! Time to put on a show. I saw Caleb and Cole looking at us with balled up fist. I turned sin around and stared into his eyes I hugged him not letting go and he held on to me. I placed my head on his chest and turned to way towards the enemy gang. " I choose to race against. This love sick guy." The enemy leader spoke. His voice was raspy. Sin pretended to act shocked. Jeff came and pulled me away. I allowed my mind to fill with sad thoughts to allow myself to cry. Fake of course. " no! You can't please don't!" I cried. I broke free of Jett's grasp and ran into sins arms. I whispered in his ear, " good luck. Beat his ass." He nodded and I jumped down from him. He walked away and got into his Lamborghini. " Good acting!" Jeff whisper yelled. Cole came up behind me and grabbed my arm. " so you and sin huh?" He asked. " no. It was an act. Jeff put us to it. Sin is the best racer in the gang so yeah. They would chose the one that looks weak. " I explained. " he's a bad guy. Don't ever go near him again." Cole ordered. " thanks to him you might actually have a chance of getting one of yours sisters back. Asshole." I spat pulling away from him. " Juliet wait! " something just made me stop. I turned around. " I broke up with Ella yesterday." He started. " why?" I asked cautiously. " I don't know? For you." I ran into him and his arms enveloped me in a hug. " I've always liked you." I muttered into his shirt. We went to the bleachers and sat down for the race. The cars engines revved up. A lady with a all black crop top and super tight short shorts on came out holding up numbers. She yelled, " 3-2-1" the cars sped off and I spotted sin. He was in first place and the car sped through the tracks. A big round about came up and he drifted through it leaving tire marks. Up ahead came the finish line and sin zoomed through it. That's it he won! I stood in with the rest of the people cheering for him. We ran down to our gang and once again we were face to face with our enemy gang. The leader nodded his head to one of the members. He had a beanie on and tattoos covering every inch of skin showing. He went over to the black tinted car and pulled out 2 girls. I noticed it wa hope and Elizabeth. They looked healthy well except for hope. She looked tired. When she saw Cole she smiled so big. Elizabeth started crying. " pick now." The enemy leader demanded. Cole stepped forward. Hope he'll out her hand and Cole grabbed it. " please take Eli. " she whispered horsely. He nodded and motioned for Elizabeth to come. They let her go and she grabbed Coles hand. They walked together in silence to cole' s car. Before Cole got in he looked back at Hope with watery eyes. He waved to her and blew a kiss. They drove off with Lena in the backseat. I was not about to let Cole not get Hope back. I am going to be the hero of why his sister comes back. Sin knocked me out of my thoughts by nudging me. " you thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked. I looked up at him. " and what exactly are you thinking?" " well I'm thinking that we could be the heroes." I smiled and nodded. " let's do this." -------------------------------------------------
Phew finally done with chapter 3. You should expect for a update every 2 days. I don't how long it's been probably 1 day or so but I like to keep it updated. I don't want to lose readers for not updating soon enough. Also I don't mind if you advertise your books but don't say who's book is better please. I'm not the one to complain about it but hey!
