~Recap~
............."Then after the funeral I moved to London and started studying to become a sound technician at the university and have been for the past two and half years." she finished, looking down at her lap and fiddling with the hem of her shirt. I really didn't know what to say. She had been through so much. I stared at her for a while before I settled with a tight hug. I could tell she didn't want a guilt trip. She just wanted someone to listen, and I was glad to be that person. We sat there holding each other for a while before she pulled away and smiled a small smile at me.
"Thank you." was all she said. She then stood up and offered me her hand, pulling me up. Once I was up I didn't let go. I led her up the stairs to my bedroom and gave her a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. After changing she climbed into bed and cuddled up to me. We didn't talk, but we didn't need to. I held her close drawing patterns on her back until I heard her breathing even out, indicating she was asleep. Soon after I felt my eyes get heavy and I did the same.
~End Recap~
*Elle's POV*
I woke up really early Sunday morning, at around 7:30, and decided I would home before any of the boys would force me to hang out with them again. It's not that I don't like hanging out with them, because I totally do, it's just that everything is happening all too fast. I mean, I didn't even know them two weeks ago and know they act as if we're best friends. I've always been the loner, so I'm not exactly used to all the attention. Anyways, I don't feel so bad about leaving because I did tell Louis bye. When I crawled out of the bed it woke him up, but thankfully he was to tired to protest so I got out with no problem.
Now it's Monday and I am sitting in the studio waiting for the boys to get here. Today I have a surprise guest for them, so I'm really excited. Though, I'm pretty sure that they've met him before but it doesn't matter. I was actually quite nervous about today, not because of the special guest, but because I was going to have to face the boys after my 'little episode'. Hopefully they just brushed it off though, but then there was Louis. He had seen at my most vulnerable and now knows my entire past, I just hope it won't be awkward between us this morning.
"Morning El." a tired looking Niall interrupted my thoughts with a hug.
"Good Morning." I smiled at him. Soon after filed in Liam and Zayn, then Harry, and finally Louis. As soon as we made eye contact a blush rose to my cheeks without permission, I quickly looked away hoping he didn't see. Soon I felt someone grab my wrist pulling me into their embrace.
"Hey love." Louis greeted rubbing my back.
"Hi." I said rather awkwardly.
"How are you." he whispered only loud enough for me to hear. I then pulled away from his comforting hug and gave him a thumbs up with a tight smile. We then joined the other boys around the sitting area.
"So what's on the agenda today Elle?" Liam asked, eager to get to work.
"Well actually we're being joined by someone today. I thin you guys know him, he wrote a song for your last..." I was interrupted by a screaming ginger tackling Harry to the ground.
"Ed!" the rest of the boys shouted at the same time joining in on the dog pile while I stood there with my mouth agape. Well that's... awkward... this is awkward... I'm awkward... shit... I should probably say something since they're all staring at me.
"Surprise!" I shouted rather... well, awkwardly.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you..." the handsome ginger trailed off realizing he didn't know my name.
"Elle" I filled grasping his outreached hand to shake.
"Well Elle, I'm Ed." He smiled proudly.
