~Recap~
"Erm... it sounds... off." I stated scrunching my face up.
"Yeah I agree, but what is it?" Ed said turning to me. We all sat there thinking before I got it.
"Okay, Zayn you sing first verse, Liam you sing second, Louis you stay on the third verse, Harry you sing fourth, and Niall you sing the bridge." I nodded hoping that would fix it. They all looked at me confused but did as they were told. After they finished they all smiled and high fived me.
"It's perfect!" Ed shouted. "Well I've gotta go boys, I'll see ya later." After Ed had left I turned to the boys.
"Well, let's get recording."
~End Recap~
*Harry's POV*
The past few weeks have been really hectic. It has been non-stop work since the day Ed stopped by. Sure, we have our weekends but everyone is too tired to really do anything fun. Elle has been acting pretty weird lately. I think she's been avoiding us, especially Louis. I mean, yeah we see her at work every day but trying to talk to her is like speaking into thin air. If the conversation has anything to do with something that isn't work related she changes the subject. I think it has something to do with the never have I ever game that we played last time she was at the house. She seemed pretty upset with the whole getting high thing. She did say she had a bad past so I guess it must have hit a nerve. Anyways, all of this no speaking nonsense is going to stop today. I have come up with a plan that is full proof! Well... if you call sneaking into her car and refusing to leave until she agrees to hang out with me being fool proof.
"Alright guys that's it for the day, you can go home." Elle said as she started to clean up. Now's my chance, I told the boys I was going to walk around town for a bit and I would catch a taxi home so they wouldn't be wondering why I would be sitting in Elle's car instead of ours. As soon as they left I hopped into the passenger seat and waited patiently. After about fifteen minutes of drumming my fingers on the dashboard I finally saw Elle making her way to the car. She must not have noticed me at first because when she sat down and turned to put her seatbelt on she nearly jumped out of her skin.
"Harry! What the hell are you doing!?" She shouted with a bewildered look on her face.
"First off, I wanted to find out why you've been avoiding us lately and second, I think we should hang out and have some fun. It's a Friday night and we should do something other than listening to demos and recording." I said with a small nod at my plans.
"Harry, I alre-"
"Blow them off." I interrupted quickly. She closed her eyes and sighed.
"The reason I've been avoiding you guys is because I'm trying to keep this a professional relationship. You know, not friends or anything else, just... co-workers." She said with a sad smile.
"It doesn't seem like that's what you really want Elle. You know you had a blast the other day at the amusement park! What's so wrong with being friends with us? We may be co-workers but that doesn't me we can't have some fun?" I said feeling confused. She was looking out the window before looking down and muttering what seems to be "I just don't want to get hurt."
"You don't what?" I asked making sure I heard right.
"Huh, oh nothing." She said shaking her head. After a few minutes of looking at each other she let out a light laugh.
"You're right, I'm just being ridiculous. I suppose a little fun would be good for me." She said starting the car and smiling at me. "What did you have in mind?"
