Shadows brought into the stars (book 1)

Their Spot

It's been several days since Rogue and Lucy ever talked...

"Rogue? Where's Lucy?" Sometimes Frosche would ask the shadow dragon slayer.
Rogue shrugged with annoyance he doesn't like to talk about things he doesn't care about. Sometimes he would consider going back to Sabertooth because there was nothing for him here.

One night during a Fairy tail party...
Lucy was tired of sulking all the time, she's finally decide to rejoin Team Natsu!
But she'll do that in the morning right now she's going to try and enjoy another Fairy tail party.
Rogue was across the room with Sting and never bothered to look at Lucy.
She just continued to sip her strawberry milk shake in silence and listen to Mira, Levy, and Erza talk.
Finally after a few minutes of looking at the one person she loved more than Natsu she stood up lightly and walked to the doors of the guild and silently left.
The second she closed the doors she burst into tears and sits on the nearest bench that's sitting against the guild walls.
'Why can't I stop crying? Why do I have to be so weak? Why do I have to suffer??' Lucy thought as more tears spilled.
"Hello??" Rogue's voice rang from behind her.
She turns and there's Rogue.
He still had the 'I don't care' expression on his face.
"Are you... crying?" He asks still not caring but still at least he asked.
"Huh?" Lucy said startled and wiped some tears away with her palm.
"What's the matter..." Rogue asked sighing and looking away irritated.
"The person of whom I love... forgot about me," Lucy said as she put her face in her hands and cried some more.
Rogue watched her, surprised.

Rogue's P.O.V

This Lucy girl reminds me of someone.
But who?
And she told me someone forgot about her?
Who?
Now since I think about it... in my memories of coming here I see an extra person arguing with Lecter.
But the face is to foggy.

Nobodies P.O.V

Lucy finally finished crying and looked at Rogue who was thinking immensely about something.
"Thank you..." Lucy said sadly and stood up to walk away.
Rogue watched her walk away and felt a stabbing pain in his heart as if she's supposed to be with him forever.
Right now Frosche is with Mira, and Sting and Lecter are partying.
Rogue feels empty.
But he doesn't know why.
Suddenly, his feet started to take him to her apartment.
'I'll just ask her if she's the person I'm supposed to remember...' he thought to himself.
Finally he reached her apartment and knocked.
Nothing he received no reply.
So he knocked again.
Same no reply.
Finally he barged right in, no matter how much he felt like she'd hate it.
"Lucy-san?" Rogue said emotionlessly and searched her apartment but couldn't find any sign of the Celestial wizard.
He sighed heavily to himself.
'The park?" An idea popped into rogue's mind.
But he didn't question it so he went to the park using shadows.
It was night so it was quite simple.

Lucy sat on the bench that her and Rogue owned together.
They made that promise...
They both had their first kiss...
And they fell in love here...
"Am I the one who forgot?" Rogue suddenly asks walking casually out of the shadows.
Lucy looked at him with her tear stained eyes and nodded.
"But it's ok..." But before Lucy could finish that sentence Rogue swooped down and kissed her on the lips.
She was startled at first but melted into the kiss.
Rogue wanted to test his theory.
Suddenly!
"Blondie!" Sting had yelled to the Blonde girl walking to Fairy tail.
"Hello uh... Sabertooth," she said awkwardly.

"Hey I understand you don't talk..." Lucy said to Rogue.

"You can stay at my place until you get a new one, " Lucy said smiling.

"Why can't I be like you and keep a straight face? I'm so weak!" Lucy sobbed.

And one by one every memory of Lucy came back to Rogue through just one kiss!
When the two pulled apart, Rogue was dumbstruck.
"Lucy?" He said under his breath.
Lucy surprised at what he called her because he usually calls her 'Lucy-san'.
"Rogue?" Lucy asked, realizing he remembered her!
She hugged him the same way she did in Porlyusica's house, the morning when she was so afraid he was dead she hugged him so tight he almost was.
That's how she hugged him, there on that park bench.
"I remembered you on our park bench," Rogue said laying his forehead on hers.
Lucy cried tears of joy and Rogue whiped them away with his thumb.
And he kissed her again.
"Lucy..." Rogue said as he pulled away.
"Rogue?" Lucy said with a hint of blush on her cheeks.
He looks into her brown eyes and says, "I love you."
"I love you to," Lucy said happily.
And he pulled her into his arms and they both looked over at the river that's glimmering from the moon light.
(Yay! I'm debating if I should have them get married! Please tell me!!! )
