You couldn't take it anymore. The constant yelling and screaming you both did. The huge fights over the smallest of things and the hurtful words exchanged every time you argued. The nights you would curl up in bed and cry yourself to sleep because of something he said. You were on the verge of breaking completely. Every Time you made up he promised that he wouldn't make you cry ever again but at this point those promises meant nothing to you. So today was the day you decide that you had enough and that you were going to leave. You had already packed up all of your things and moved it into the room you previously had shared with Mikasa before moving in with Levi.
You were walking on your way back from training with Eren, you were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't hear Eren calling your name
"(F/N), (F/N)" he said waving his hand in front of your face until you were finally snapped out of your trance
"What? Oh yea?" You said
"Are you okay, you seem to have a lot on your mind are you think about him again" he asked you
You would always talk to Eren about your fights with Levi in fact he was always the one to comfort you when you would come crying to him in the middle of the night or when you just needed someone to listen to you rant he was right there all the time ready to listen.
"I'm gunna do it today, I am gunna leave him for good this time" you said looking at the ground
"Good for you (F/N), I'm proud of you" Eren said wrapping you in his embrace
"Okay well I better go now, I will see you tommorow" you spoke softly as you removed yourself from his grasp
"Good luck" Eren said as he watch your figure disappear into the distance.

You were standing in front of Levi's door you shakily reached for the door knob but stopped half way 'okay this is it, time to shallow my fear and woman up' you gave yourself a little pep talk before you entered the room finally you grabbed the door knob twisted it and walked in, you saw Levi sitting at his desk doing paperwork
"Hey" you said as you took your jacket off and hung it up
"Your home late" he said not looking up from his task
"I was talking to Eren for a bit after training" you told him as you took a seat in front of his desk
"Tch what did I tell you about talking to the brat" he said still making no eye contact with you
"Me and Eren are friends Levi you can't control who and who I don't talk to!" You raised your voice slightly he looked up from his work and placed his pen down beside the papers. Levi didn't say a word as if telling you to continue and you gladly did
"I can't take this anymore Levi the constant screaming, fighting and how you think you can manipulate me to do what you want! I'm not your dog Levi I am a human being and I can do as I please say what I want and there is nothing you can do about it!" You told Levi looking him dead in the eye with a angry expression on your face
"YOUR MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU ARE MINE AND NO ONE ELSE'S YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME AND OBEY ME DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND THAT" he screamed at you
You immediately came back
"YOUR SUCH A FUCKING ASSHOLE LEVI EVERY SINGLE THING I DO YOU PICK AT AND I HATE THAT ABOUT YOU"
"AT LEAST IM NOT THE BITCH WHO ALWAYS SO STUBBORN AND HARD TO DEAL WITH AND IF I AM SUCH AN ASSHOLE AND YOU HATE ME WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ITS NOT LIKE I ACTUALLY LOVED YOU ANYWAY" he screamed but once he realized what he said he completely regretted it, as for you the last sentence hit you like a ton of bricks you eyes started to water but you didn't not dear to shed a tear. Levi saw your eyes water he felt like the biggest asshole ever
"You don't love me huh fine then" you said
"I am sorry (F/N) I didn't mean it please forgive me I promise not to fight with you ever again and I actually mean it this time I love you so much" he said grabbing your hand
"No..." you said ripping your hand out of his "I'm done, I am leaving forever and I mean that" you said getting up from your seat
"No (F/N) stay please stay with me I swear I am being sincere" he tried to stop you from leaving while you were already putting on your jacket
"Levi we both know that this was over before it started, if we keep on holding on to whatever we have going on here the both of us are gunna end up more hurt than what we already are" you turned to face him before leaving and you were shocked to see him standing there with tears in his eyes you walked up to him and gave him one last kiss
"Goodbye Levi and do me a favour be a better man to the next girl you have, and treat her right way" you finally said as you walked out the door and closed it.
Levi walked back to his desk and sulked down into his chair trying to take in what had just happened
"She's...gone" he muttered to himself "I'm such a fucking IDIOT" he screamed the word idiot and pulled at his hair
~a year later~
It's been a year since you left Levi. After you left him things went nowhere but up you felt like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders you smile was a bit brighter, your laugh was a little louder and then humanity finally defeated the Titans and you finally found the true love of your life Eren and you are now engaged with him. Levi too was happy as well but not completely, after defeating the Titans Levi was finally relaxed and he actually start to smile but he was still missing the one thing that made him complete... You.
You walked into his office handing him your resignation letter and as he took from your hand he noticed your ring
"That's a nice ring (F/N)" he spoke while looking at your letter
"Oh thank you, Eren gave it to me"
Levi's eyes widen a bit 'no please no' he thought to himself
"Your married to that brat" he said cocking a brow
"No" you said blushing as you fiddled around with the ring on your finger
"Oh" Levi said looking a little relived
"Well not yet anyway" he said giggling a bit
"Fuck" Levi muttered
"Excuse me" you asked
"No nothing congratulations I'm glad you found someone" he said with a tiny sad smile
"Thank you me too, well I have to go my carriage is here" you said smiling back at him while leaving
"(F/N) wait" he said standing up from his chair
"What is it Levi" you asked turning around to face him
"I'm really sorry for hurting you. I was a dick and you never deserved what I put you though I truly loved you from the bottom of my heart do you forgive me" he said walking up to you and looking deep into your eyes
You smiled "I forgave you a long time ago" you went in for a hug which he gladly returned.
With that he watch you go your (h/l) (h/c) swaying side to side as you walked out of the door and as he watched you leave he said to himself 'I am such a fucking idiot'
