Chapter 3

Brett's POV
Running as fast as I can I burst through the door to find Lydia. "Where Liam"

"Whoa lover boy" she said closing he door "Liam has things he has to-"

"I know he's a wolf and all that" I said quickly.

"Boathouse" she sighed

Knock knock

Lydia opened the door to find mason and a whole bunch of kids. "Why are they here?"

'Hey Liam told mason that there was a party here to cover'

Lydia groaned. "Are we at the right place?" Mason asked.

"You sure are"Lydia answered with clenched teeth.

"You take care of that" I said running out back to the boat house" man Lydia's place is amazing. I mean, she has a house on the lake! That's cool, this view is amazing too.

My sightseeing ended shortly to hear a growl from the boat house. Then a crash. And see Liam running to the woods and Scott shortly after. Kira ran out towards me.

"Who are you?" She asked frantically.

"Brett?"I answered questionably "what happened?"

"Full moon" she said pointing up.

"Should I help?"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm a wolf, and I told Liam I'll help" I said getting a little mad "if I don't help him he'll think I'm a liar and I don't want that"

"Your eyes are glowing" she said stepping away. The moon is affecting me? I thought I was in control, and if things couldn't get worse I'm now sprinting in the direction of Liam.

What am I going to do when I get there? I don't have a clue. Now who's this? "Scott" I yelled stopping by the tree.

"Argent" Scott said relieved "how?"

"Got your text" the man said "your beta is loose"

"I know that"

"Where's Liam?" I asked landing both their eyes on me.

"Why?" Scott asked protectively. "What's your business with him?"

I'm seriously annoyed. I mean why is he being so protective over him? I know he's his alpha but still? "I-I"

"We don't have time for this" the man said grabbing Scott's shoulder. "Liam's out there, and I probably going to hurt someone"

"Fine" he growled staring at me "I still want answers"

"You'll get them" I said running towards Liam's scent. We're coming. I stopped as Liam's scent grew closer as can be. But no Liam.

"Lia-" Scott's sentence was cut short as Liam tackled him. He had to bite the kid with anger issues. If you add super strength and speed to that, it's your life.

"Can you help?" Scott asked pushing Liam off "because he stronger than he looks"

"I will" seriously he is stronger than he looks. "Liam! It ok!" I yelled struggling to keep him down. "It's ok stop!" I loosened my hold when Liam started to relax. "Shhhh. It's ok" I whispered into his ear "your ok"

I know I shouldn't be thinking like this but, I'm holding a naked Liam in my arms. Now my little buddy is getting excited.

Scott knew that, but I don't think he cares much because he stood up and walked away "hey!"

"He's in good hands" was all he said before heading back. I heard him whisper "be good to him" that's when I knew.

Liam Dunbar is my mate.
