Chapter 7

We're in the middle of the game. Stiles, Scott, Kira, and I are keeping a look out for anyone on the field. Isaac was benched so he's helping Malia with anyone else.

Be to pre occupied, Brett slammed into me and we both fell. He laughed as he squeezed my butt before getting up. He wants to play like that? I get up to see Garrett flip Brett. Not gonna lie I wanted to rip his throat out.

When Brett didn't get up I ran to him.

"You ok?"

"Nope, I think I twisted my ankle"

"Are you healing?" He shook his head and. Tried to get up but failing.

"I don't know what's wrong" he seems to be in a lot of pain. Scott came over and called a paramedic. In other words his mom.

"He's not healing" I told them "plus he's a wolf"

"Let's take him inside" ms.McCall got a few people to help her take Brett in.

"He has a fever"

"Is he sick?" I asked getting worried. Scott gave me a look.

"It's wolfs bane, he'll heal but slowly" I gave a sigh of relief "but I don't think it's over"

"You think he's the or they're after?" He shook his head.

"I think he's a distraction but I could be wrong. "I think he'll be ok in here"

"Let's get back to the game" when we walked back out I noticed mason was talking to Malia. I should tell him soon.

"Sorry about your boyfriend"Garrett said.

"It's ok" it wasn't til after he left I noticed the smell of blood. It was coming from his lacrosse stick.

"You smell it too?" Scott asked I look around and saw him next to the goalie.

"I'm out guys" Kira said from the bench "apparently they haven't made the new rule that girls can play lacrosse"

"Great" I sighed.

"Looks like we're on our own"

Nothing has happened since Brett. Te game finished and everyone is heading home.

"We should check on Brett" i told Scott.

"Do you hear that?"

"What?"

"Exactly" he said "where'd everyone go?"

"They left" we all turn to see a few guys in masks "and your gonna die"

"Brett!" I said pushing one guy off of me.

"I'll get him" Scott started to run. Kira blocked one guy who shot an arrow.

"Hurry" Malia slashed his throat. I grabbed a lacrosse stick that almost hit my head. There was a blade on the end of it.

"Garrett" I growled.

"Hey"

"Where's your whore of a girlfriend?"

"Taking your bitch of a boyfriend out" he said throwing a punch.

"Im thinking it's not on a date"

Brett's POV

"Liam!" I growled trying to stand. Who would poison me with wolfs bane?

"Hey Brett" violet walked in "how's the wolfs bane going?"

"Why did you poison me?" I asked trying my best to look intimidating.

"Your a wolf. You cost a lot of money. And your the easiest to kill" he pointed out. "Now be a good doggy" she took her necklace off "and beg"

She wrapped her necklace around my neck and pulled. I can't do anything! Can't breath! Bye Liam, I love-

"Not tonight" Scott growled tearing violet off of me.

"Great the alpha" she said dodging Scott's hits. She did a cartwheel hitting Scott on the top of his head. She then grabbed his arm and pulled him close so she can put the necklace on.

Luckily he put his hand in between. He gave all his strength. Why can't he beat her already? I noticed the red around the necklace string. It's a thermal changing cord. I watched not able to do anything and Scott's eyes turned dark red before he snapped the necklace and head butted violet.

"Like I said.... Not tonight" he panted.

"Brett!" Liam shouted before I fainted.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Why'd they bring me here? "Lydia?" I asked staring at the strawberry blonde in front of me.

"Finally" she groaned "your awake"

"Where's everyone?"

"Thy forced Liam to go eat chipotle" she said not looking up from her nails.

"Why did they force him?"

"He wouldn't leave" she sighed "you've been out for five days"

I stare at her confused "why?"

"The wolfs bane they used was rare, it almost killed you" she said "we got Liam's dad to get it out without any questions"

"Really?"

"The cops got violet and Garrett" she added "the guys that they hired got away"

"Where are they?"

"They are in the towns jail til tonight, then they'll get transported to-" her phone started to ring. "Hello?...... What?! He got out! I'll stay with him, just be careful"

"What?"

"Garrett escaped" I tried to get up but failed.

"Not a good idea" I said sitting back down slowly.

"Yeah, thought so"
