AN HOUR LATER
The police came and cleaned up the scene. They were taking my mothers lifeless body out of the house, and that moment my life broken into a million pieces. I dropped to my knees and began to sob again.
I felt to hands on my back, one if them was rubbing it as the other one was stiff. I looked up to see Liam and a police officer. "I am very sorry for your loss ma'am." he said
I nodded my head and continued to cry. I felt a pair if arms pick me up and hold me bridle style. I was then place back on the cough.
"If your packed then we can leave when your ready." I heard Liam say. I instantly stood up " I need to get out of here. I don't want to feel the pain in my heart. We can leave now" I said. Liam looked a bit taken back by my words but then nodded in agreement.
"Alright then, I will go get your bags." he said while standing up. One he was upstairs I looked around at the last glips of my house.
I smelled my mother perfume and felt a warm sinsation run down my cheek. "Dee? Are you okay" I heard Liam say. It was then when I realized that I was crying. I quickly wiped my tears away and nodded. "Yeah, just remembering all the memories that were in this house." He sat my bags some and walked over to me.
He then put his palm on my cheek. "I promise you that we will get through this and I want let anything happen to you." I look up at him and smile slightly as he wiped the rest of my tears away.
He went over and got my bags and headed to the door. I walked out the door and took a deep breathe.
This is going to be a good thing, new place, new people, a new start.
