**Harry's POV**
"Alex should be awake soon. You are welcome to visit her," the doctor said. I nodded politely towards him. Inhaling a deep breath, I twisted the door knob and slowly creaked the door open.
Alex was tucked comfortably into the bed. Her hair flowed down her front, and she looked so fragile. I slid a chair next to the bed and took her hand in mine. Giving it a soft squeeze, I brought it to my lips and kissed it gently. Alex shifted under my touch.
"Harry?" A soft and broken voice asked. My head snapped up and my eyes met with those beautiful brown ones.
"Alex," I breathed. A genuine smile spread across her face.
"What happened?" She asked. I looked away from her. I knew this question was going to be asked, I just wish it hadn't have been this soon.
"Jenny... She... Shot you," I explained. Alex's fingers tightened around mine.
"S-she did?" She stuttered. I nodded solemnly, wishing it hadn't have happened.
"Yes," I said. Silence greeted me as Alex processes this information.
"Where is she now?" She asked weakly.
"The cops got her right after it happened," I said. Alex's lips pursed and a tiny glare absorbed her features.
"As long as she's gone," she said, puffing out a breath. I gave her a look of sympathy.
"She's gone for good. Life long prison," I said. A smile replaced the solemn look Alex's features had held.
"Good. That bitch deserves it," Alex said in all seriousness, causing a small chuckle to fall from lips.
"Yes, yes she did," I agreed. Silence enveloped us. It wasn't an awkward silence. Not at all. It was comfortable, and well needed.
"Any news on my dad?" Alex asked. Of course she was worried about him.
"No, you've been our main focus," I said. She gave a slight nod.
"Is Jess here?" She asked. I smiled weakly.
"Yes. Would you like me to get her for you?" I asked. Alex nodded. "Okay, she will be right in," I sighed, stepping out of the room. I ran smack into Jess.
"She wants you," I said, motioning for her to go inside. She gave me a sheepish smile before heading in and closing the door behind her. Deciding it would be best, I headed towards the ICU to find a doctor who works with Tim. I wove through the maze of different hallways before running into someone.
"Looking for someone?" I petit nurse asked.
"Uh, yeah. Where is Tim's doctor?" I asked. A look of confusion crossed the woman's features.
"Oh Tim!" She suddenly exclaimed, knowing who I was talking about. "He's been moved into the main building," she said. "Follow me."
I traipsed after her, wondering why he had been moved. Did he wake up? Was he dead? What was going on?
"This is Doctor Addams. She's in charge of Tim now. She can tell you everything you need to know," the nurse said, pointing me in the direction of a very tall woman.
"Thanks," I muttered, sauntering over to who I presumed was Dr. Addams.
"Dr?" I asked, tapping her lightly on the shoulder.
"May I help you?" She asked.
"I'm looking for information about Tim?" I asked hesitantly. This woman held a sturdy posture, and was not someone to be messed with.
"Are you family?" She asked, raising a peculiar eyebrow.
"No, but my girlfriend is. She happens to be in the hospital as well. I promised her I would find out what was going on," I explained, partially telling the truth.
"I see," she responded, giving me a quizzical look. "Well, he woke two days ago, but then Alex was rushed in needing a kidney. He volunteered, and it turns out they were an exact match. He gave her his kidney, and is still in recovery. Visits to him will be available in a few days," the doctor said. I stared wide-eyed at her. My mouth opened slightly. All I could do was nod before turning on my heel and heading to tell Alex.
**Alex's POV**
"Hey Al," Jess said sheepishly as she entered the room.
"Hey Jess," I smiled. I wanted to reach out to her, but it was really hard to move.
"How ya feeling?" She asked, taking a seat where Harry had been sitting earlier.
"For just being shot? Almost dying? I'm marvelous, oh so marvelous," I said sarcastically, adding an eye roll for emphasis. Jess looked down, a hint of hurt flashing across her features.
"Jess, I'm kidding. I actually don't feel too bad," I said. Taking in a deep breath, she nodded.
"I was so scared," she breathed, tears forming in her eyes. Seeing her in such a fragile state made me feel awful.
"I know Jess, me too," I said.
"You felt a different kind of scared. If you had died, I would have been all alone," she said quietly. Her voice slightly raised in the middle, but instantly lowered. Hearing the words she just muttered sent a pang through my heart.
"Oh Jess," was all I managed to say. She quickly swiped under her eyes and cleared her throat.
"I think the boys were going to sneak in real food for you," she said, a smirk forming on the edge of her lips.
"I wish. I'm starving but I'm not allowed to eat anything unless the doctor gives it to me," I said, sighing at the end. This whole thing was beyond frustrating.
"Well, damn," Jess muttered. I chuckled at her choice of words. Just then, the door was flung open, and in came a panting Harry.
"Al, did the doctor ever tell you who gave you a kidney?" He asked. I shook my head. "It was your dad."
"What?" I gasped.
"Yeah. He woke up, found about you, and gave it to you," Harry said, walking to my side.
"Is he okay?" I asked, worry taking over me.
"Yes, he will be fine. Visitors will be allowed to see him in a few days," Harry explained. My heart swelled with love and happiness. A large grin spread on my lips and tears filled my eyes.
"That's incredible," I breathed.
"It sure is," Harry responded, leaving a gentle kiss on my lips.

I'm sorry, it's really short. It's sort of a filler though, and I wanted to update.
Yay, that bitch is in jail! We should throw a party to celebrate.
