*Audition Day*
Today's the day, yes it is. I'm already standing in here.
I took a deep breath, excitement and nervousness are the feelings I'm feeling today.
Excitement, because I'm going to live my dream. Nervousness, afraid to be rejected.
I've been here for 11 hours now. I got here at 6, as it says to one of the programme's I have read before the audition day, to come here early as possible. Because thousands of people will be auditioning.
Anyways, two months ago before the audition, I've searched a lot of facts, tips and steps about it. (Of course, to be ready)
My family didn't knew about this, I went here by myself. They didn't care anyway. Your dream will be granted by yourself, not by the other people's help, right?
I glanced at my watch and see the time, its quarter in 4. How long this will be taking? Wait. It doesn't matter. I'm going to finish this, if I win, keep it on winning, if I lose, just accept it and that's all.
Moments later, a lady with a camera man came up to me. I sat up straight an act cool. The lady must be Konnie Huq, one of the hosts in X factor.
"Hello love" she said in her luxurious British accent.
"Hi" I sad and smiled.
"Are you ready for a short interview?" She asked, as the camera man fixes the camera.
"Yeah sure" I replied.
She asked me some few informations about me, as I informed her. The camera man gave us thumbs up, as I started to speak.
"Hi, My names Paige Gray, I'm 16 years old." I started.
"I lived in a little town, a part here in Sydney. I'm this kind of a school girl, eagerly finishing high school to help my family." I added.
"But I'm getting it in other ways at the same time, like to be a successful artist. I'll be selling out arenas, helping people in charities and I'll do my best to make my own music" I said as I admired the things I wanted to do.
"My family didn't know about this, so if you guys were watching, I love you all and I'm not letting this opportunity go" I lastly said.
"Thank you so much, Paige. That's really overwhelming" konnie said.
Konnie looked at my plate number, and said "Two more auditions and you're up! Be ready." Konnie said and gave me a warm smile.
"Okay" I said, she patted my back for calming sensatition as she sat beside me.
"Are you nervous?" She sweetly asked. Camera's still on.
"Yeah. A little" I admits.
"It'll be fine, you'll do great" she said.
After few minutes, my number was called. "167210!" I stood up, and fixed my shirt and hair.
"Come one, Paige" konnie said.
I left, leaving my bag as we went backstage.
"Are you ready?" A man asked with a portable amplifier placed to his mouth, far enough to not to hear.
"Yes" I answered and he gave me the microphone. Omg! An X factor microphone! Yiiieee!
Konnie gave me a hug and give me the thumbs up.
I walked over, through the stage. And all I have to do, Is to be confident, focus, and feel the music.
