I groaned softly as I tapped my phone and turned off my alarm.
Let's just take five more minutes—

I sat up in my bed and ran my hands over my face in frustration.
Hearing my door open softly, I looked up just in time to see Ocean running towards me with a bright smile. I enveloped her tiny body as she got onto the bed with excitement.
"Morning Aunty Tey."
"Morning my little waves. How yuh up suh early?" I asked as I wiped the small creases on her face.
"I have school." She reminded me and I smiled. She had a function at school today.
"Oh. Mommy awake?" I asked and she nod getting off the bed.
Did I mention I was at Alexandra's?
I came over on Saturday night after me and such boy had an argument.

I managed to get out of bed and maneuvered my way to the bathroom. * * I was really trying to avoid going home at all cost but like the stupid person I am, I forgot to pack a work outfit for today.
