Chapter 2: Dinner With Friends

"Are those chopsticks?" Liam grins politely puzzled at the image of his friend's goofy look. He barely has time to take in the sight, when the picture changes to the same women with the worst looking mustache and beard he has even seen drawn on her face. Liam bursts out laughing at the sight. Since last seeing her, Liam kept a casual eye and ear out for what his friends have been up to and cannot remember the last time his saw Jennifer goofing around like that. In truth, most of the news he's overheard has been around her filming in Canada and what photos he has seen have been her usual blank face behind sunglass as she makes her way from one place to another. Liam smiles again thinking how good it is to see her joking around again. Then his smile falters as he spots the tagline beneath the photos.

'J-law and Martin split again: who's been cheating who?'

Liam frowns as he quickly sits on the bed's edge and un-mutes the television to listen to the full story.

...well it seems like Jennifer Lawrence has been unlucky in love again as reports confirm that she and Coldplay's front man Chris Martin have once again called it quits. The Hunger Games star and British singer have not been seen in public together for well over a month and a Insider reports that the last time they were spotted they look so distance it was like they were on separate planets. However it seems that both parties may not have been as heartbroken as you'd expect as Martin was spotted spending quantity time with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and more recently seen strolling hand in hand with Australian star Kylie Minogue in London. Meanwhile, J-law has reportedly been spending huge amounts of time with on-again off-again boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. "its like they've never been apart'" said one on-set bystander. And more recently the actress was spotted leaving two restaurants with false beard and chopsticks 'Walrus' teeth. So it seems like both parties seem to have moved on pretty quickly, giving rise to the rumors of one cheating on the other but who was the first, text or tweet me who you think was the first to cheat-"

Liam snaps off the TV and hurls the remote over his shoulder as cold fury crawls back up his spin. He jumps up and begins stalking up and down his room as the reports words linger in his thoughts. "Fucking paparazzi" he seethes to himself. Sticking their noses in his friend's private life and making up rumors about her being unfaithful, they didn't have a fucking clue what went on in his friends head and how hard she tries to keep people from invading her personal life. 'Hasn't she had enough of people's intrusion? I mean for gods sake! It wasn't even that long ago that she was hacked and her private photos were leaked all over the god damn internet' he thinks to himself, his anger growing by the second. Liam remembers when he heard about Jennifer being hacked, he'd first brushed it aside thinking someone good a photo shopping had made it all up but then when It was confirmed he'd felt so sorry for her and all the other women who's personal pictures were now on display for the whole world to see. He had to admire how Jennifer dealt with it and did feel a small amount of comfort from those decent people who fought hard to get the photos removed, even if it was futile act.

It was a day after he found out that a reported had approached him in Australia asking for his thoughts on the matter. Liam was still so furious that he refused to say anything and had immediately phone Josh to tell him that the questions would probably be coming his way too. "Thanks for the heads up man. I've got something in mind for them." Josh had confirmed and god love him, Liam was sure that Josh would come up with the perfect thing to say. Liam had tried calling Jennifer as well but it went straight to voicemail so he left her a message letting her know that he was there for her day or night if she wanted to talk about anything. It was a full two days before he got the message that she was with her family and she was ok. Liam didn't push her, thinking that she just wanted time with her family and he'd see her soon anyway when they started touring and promoting Mockingjay part 1. When he did she her again, he was a tad concerned to see how she would be behind that camera's. The relief he felt when she hadn't changed one bit was the biggest comfort he'd ever felt and they both never spoke about it and Liam knew they probably never would and that was ok by him.
